The two month old recipient very much enjoyed playing with it on the long ride home. His mother put it in front of him in the car seat and he explored with his toes. I think that this made the car ride much nicer for all.

As an educator with experience in the area of Cognitive Stimulation, the toy is multisensory. The colors are vivid and the crinkling sound is reinforcing. Later on, I am sure that this child will enjoy looking in the mirror and opening/closing the flap. I like the cube design because it has flat surfaces that will not roll. This will be a nice complement to balls, etc. in his play area.

The cloth is a nice texture but will require some extra care to keep clean.

We bought this for our 7 month old. He loves it and will play with it forever. The best part is that is has many different things to play with, but it all stays together. You don't have to worry about lots of little toys scattered around. The rings stay attached and it makes fun noises. Plus, there is a tag on it, which seems to be my son's favorite part!
