Bought for 3 year old, for vacation this summer to national park--only easy paved hikes planned. Shoe feel apart on first use with laces snapping only quarter mile into hike--she couldnt walk in them without them fallin off. Had to carry child back. Immediately called for refund. Pay up and buy keens, flimsy construction

I was so excited when I saw these sandals...until my almost two year old daughter wore them. In less than one day they made terrible marks on the backs of her feet, and the straps kept coming undone. She couldn't do more than walk in them without the sandals coming undone and slipping off. Going to the park was a mistake.

These are very cute looking sandals but not practical by any means. If she did not wear them for a day I would have returned them.

Extremely disappointed, usually the products you feature work out well!

My son has very wide feet and I was hoping to find a water shoe/sandal that would fit him. The tether dug into his leg at the top, and the sides rubbed him as well. These are very easy to get on his wide foot, and he seemed to walk very well in these shoes. However, I returned them because it appeared after him wearing them a very short amount of time, he had red marks from the shoe rubbing him too much.

They were a bit big I think in the width and the velcro straps on the back didn't tighten down around my son's foot/ankle very much. I tried tightening the stretchy string on top of the foot but it didn't stay tightened. And they stink...the fabric on the sole holds foot stink. Otherwise, they were ok sandals to cover the toes (required by daycare). I love the open toe Land & Sea sandals so hoped these would be as great, but I was a bit disappointed.

My son was very upset when the velcro part of the strap came apart rending them useless. He only wore them for one week, just walking around, they never even got wet. I e-mailed customer service 2 days ago...still waiting for an answer. Hopefully One Step Ahead will stand behind the products they sell...I guess time will tell.

These broke after only a few wears. The fabric that holds the top strap tore through. Very cheap. I would not recommend these under any circumstance.

These are good hybrid shoes could be great but Velcro tabs just don't stick we'll enough they keep popping open. all the other attributes of the shoe are true.

I was very excited for my daughter to use these shoes, because they appear so durable and I like that they can be used as regular sandals, but we have been very disappointed and will stop using them.

My daughter has worn these 4 times now and 3 of the 4 times the velcro on the sides has come undone. It is very frustrating. Just the other day we were walking on a VERY hot sidwalk and the shoe came off while my daughter was walking and she burned her foot. At first I thought she was undoing the velcro, but she isn't (and never does that with any shoes anywa)- they just don't stay put. I have been extra careful to close the shoes myself and keep an eye on her, but within minutes they are un-velcroed.

I thought these shoes would be great because they appear more sturdy than the water shoes we purchased from One Step Ahead last year, but I think we will go back to those. They are inexpensive and cute and stayed put.

My four year old grandgirl loves these sneaker-type sandles. My two year old hates them? I think that they are too stiff for her little feet.

These shoes are great for outdoor play, especially when there is water involved. The color is nice and it is nice that unbuckles on both sides to easily get the foot in. I did find that they run a little bigger than the standard size and that they take a long time to dry -- my son has a similiar water shoe of a different brand which dries much more quickly than this shoe!

I still really like these shoes, but within 3-4 weeks the Velcro on one of the closures had completely torn away from the leather on one of the shoes making it unwearable. Very disappointing.

Bought both brown and pink for my boy & girl and sent both back.
My girl has thin feet, but I thought the adjusting bungee would help.It just created more fabric for her foot to rub on.
My boy complained of it rubbing his big toe.
