My son loves to color so this easel comes in handy both at home and in the car. Best feature: portable, storage compartment for art supplies, clip that holds paper in place. I almost decided against this item bc other parents said the dry erase board isnt erasable. Mine erased just fine but you have to used a damp cloth or babywipe (as the label states). I wouldnt recommend using the chalk board eraser on the marker board as it will get gunked up with marker residue and chalk. The box is a little bit heavy which is good and bad. Good bc its durable and doesnt flip over when a kids using it. Bad bc when a child it trying to carry/balance it, it can be challenging. Overall, we love it! It keeps my son busy for hours.

This was a birthday gift for my 5 year old grandson. So far, I have heard only good things about it. His parents plan to take it in their RV when they have long trips. It is sturdy and well made, as well as colorful.

Both my 2 year old son and 7 year old daughter love this easel. They love carrying it from room to room and setting it up wherever they want to draw whether it be on a table or on the floor. It's roomy inside stores paper, markers, crayons, chalk and whatever they need to be creative. Great for taking on trips. Too big for my 2 year old to use in the car on trips but my 7 year old has no problem.

I love this product. My oldest son who is 6 is an amazing artist and builder and this is great for him in the house or in the car or anywhere. He loves to bring it along everywhere....the park, the doctor, the store and it really allows the ease of bringing art anywhere we can go. I love it so much!!

I purchased this easel for my niece. She is not quite 2 years old however, I think when she reaches that age, it will be very appropriate. I like the 2 different sides and how it collapses. It is meant to be portable and it is that. She is very tiny so she won't be able to carry it around for a bit but it is very reasonable for an average 2-3 year old. I believe my niece will get lots of great use out of it. The shipping time was very reasonable and came in good condition.

It works well and my son loves the chalk side so much. THe only down sid is the eraser gets full of chalk and then it does not erase the marker side but creates a sticky past. So you have to toss some wet wipes or tissue in the box so he can erase both sides. Really that is pretty easy to do so not a big deal on the eraser. It is a bit too big for my 2 yr old to hold on his lap in the car, so we bring it on trips so at grandmas or the airport he can sit and draw. It is sturdy and fun.

I don't know how such a simple item can be so engaging, but it is. My 18 month old son is slightly obsessed with this thing... so much so that we have to keep it hidden, otherwise he'll play with it all day long. We took it on a road trip with us and although it was a bit difficult for him to play with in his car seat, it kept him entertained for hours every day. It's also nice that extra paper and crayons (or other small toys) can be kept inside so you only need to carry the one item.

The markers are not really dry erase. You need a damp cloth to clean it & it can get messy. But my daughter has fun with it.

My 2 1/2 year old grandson can paint, draw with markers, write on the chalkboard, and clean up easily. I especially like how art supplies can be stored and carried around inside the portable easel.

My two-year-old grandbaby loves this easel. We haven't used it for travel; rather, it is another art-related activity. She loves drawing circles, pretending that she is writing letters, and scribbling wildly with the colored markers on the white board. Colors are being reinforced as are shapes as she loves watching me make simple objects - snowman - boat - tree, etc. by drawing basic shapes. She even loves cleaning off the chalkboard and white board!

I bought this for my Daughter at Christmas because we travel 5 hours by car to my in laws. I wanted something that would hold crayons and coloring books and would be hard enough to be used as a desk. This works. If you put the easel part up its a little balky for the car but we can leave it down and she can color just fine. My only complaint is that the inside is not big enough to put a standard size coloring book in it. So I will have to find a smaller book to put in when we travel.

I use this product on home visits for a little friend with special needs. His eyes light up when I come into the home with his "play box". I love the little storage area and he loves the fact that we can use magnetic letters and play pieces on both sides. A HUGE plus that I think you should let everyone know about. Prompt delivery and great time dealing with one step ahead. The product was poorly made. The chalk and dry erase side left residue when erased. Hard for the kids to keep playing. They only included 2 pieces of chalk, which were flimsy and the dry erase markers were poor quality,
