        I bought this camera for my daughters birthday last November. The sound stopped working in February but I just called One Step Ahead and they told me to send it back and she had another brand new camera within a week! This is by far her favorite thing to play with. She likes to make videos of herself singing or talking on the phone and then she'll play it back and just laugh. It has really brought out her "creative" side more!

        My daughter was obsessed with using my camera and was actually pretty good at taking pictures, so I put this on her Christmas wish list for grandparents. She loves being able to take pics of herself and mommy and the dog. The only downside to it is that the power button is right where your left thumb holds the camera, so it's easy to power it off when you're trying to take a picture. Otherwise, it is perfect!

        My son loves this camera and all the features that it offers. We have been EXTREMELY disappointed with the picture clarity. At first we thought it was him not holding the camera still enough and then once I tried taking a picture, the picture is blurry still. We found this especially true for photos taken inside. Outside pictures have been better.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            My 7 year old son kept sneaking our $400 camera to take his own videos and pictures. I was always worried he was going to end up breaking it at some point. So we got him this camera for Christmas and he hasn't put it down! He loves the swivel lens which allows him to take video of his surroundings then quickly add himself to the shot. He loves being creative with the pictures he takes by turning us into astronauts and kings with the included graphic abilities. And he also loves playing the simple games which are on the camera. The camera is so easy to operate, we basically handed it to him and he figured out how it worked by playing with it. There are more inexpensive cameras on the market for kids, but after researching, this was the camera we chose with all the features we wanted. I would purchase this product again.
