Comments about One Step Ahead Kids' Insulated Water-repellent Mittens Navy Md:

If your child is young enough to not be able to understand instructions (eg, to straighten out and hold her hand taut so mommy can put on your mitten) you won't be able to use these gloves! The opening is quite small so you have to stuff their poor hand into it, then the child naturally makes a fist and does not like what you are doing. When I attempted to gently stretch the opening (a tiny bit of elasticity there)- an outside fabric seam ripped!
Naturally, OneStepAhead was great and refunded money immediately. Hopefully they will improve on design to make "wide entry" mittens for little ones who are not able to cooperate with directions. Also, needs reinforced seaming.

Comments about One Step Ahead Kids' Insulated Water-repellent Mittens Navy Md:

These mittens appear to be well made of quality materials. I cannot comment of how they perform, however, as I can't get them on my 1.5 year old. While she gets excited to put on most gloves, she cries when I try to get these on. I measured and sized up slightly but I just don't think there's much you can do to make these easy for a toddler since they can't push their hands in with any strength and they don't understand separating their thumb yet. Maybe I'll try again in a few years but these were a waste of money (and tears) for now. I'd recommend waiting until you have a 3 year old before buying these.

Comments about One Step Ahead Kids' Insulated Water-repellent Mittens Navy Md:

These are nice quality mittens. Unfortunately, I have struggled and cannot get them on my 19 month old. She is cooperative, but doesn't really understand how to push her hand in. Maybe this would work better with an older child. I will keep trying, but for now I can't get them on her hands. I do recommend the easy-on mittens, those work great!

Great mittens for the price but run small. I am hoping to make it through the season without having to buy the next size up.

They are very warm and soft on the inside but they are extremely bulky and hard to put on. I would suggest this product is best used for children older than a toddler.

These mittens are well-constructed of quality materials, but my grandson can't get his hands in past the elastic at wrists--way too tight, even though they are correct size by chart. Will try to alter myself.

My daughter won't wear them because they are so bulky and they are a little snug. (I purchased a medium for my 2.5 yr old.) Hopefully she will be more willing as the temps drop. After purchasing online, I found mittens in a store with the same features, but more accurately sized and on sale they were 1/3 the price (original price the same).

I ordered the pink one for my daughter and the color is awesome. Follow the sizing cart it is right on. The only con that I have is that the "sleeve" part of the mitten is not as long as I though.
