The magnet is so weak, it doesn't pick anything up or stick to much of anything. We bought them for Easter Stuffers, price was right, but not right enough for the lack of interest my kids had after 5 mins.

I bought two, one as gift and one for my own son. Thought i would be more powerful and cooler but just two small magnets on the end of the plastic handle. Not worth it unless you need it for something specific.

His favorite Christmas toy! Amazing way to teach about ferromagnetic forces and metal constitutions. He goes around the house, learning as he touches various objects with his magnet. Easy to hold, easy to find, fun and inexpensive. Great toy!

I was very excited to find this online because of the size and shape. We're trying to teach my 2 year-old about magnets. Unfortunately, it is barely a magnet at all. It will not stick to or pick up anything much heavier than a paper clip. We got it to hold a tiny tea spoon for a few seconds before falling off. I think it only confused the concept and was cast aside in under three minutes, never to be used again. We have to look for a better one now.

My four year old cannot stop experimenting with this magnet. He is constantly testing it out on items around the house, exploring what is magnetic and what is not.

I ordered two of these for my grandsons. They came loose in a box with no wrapping or covering and they did not work. There was no magnatization with either one.
