I found it to be very difficult to find a bed rail for a convertible crib and this is perfect. Installation was easy and we have had no problems with my son and learning to sleep in his "big boy" bed. He hasn't fallen out but is able to get out of bed easily in the morning. I would recommend to buy this BEFORE you need it! My son jumped out of his crib so we knew it was time and I ended up spending a small fortune on shipping to get it here as soon as possible. Other than that- no issues at all.

We have a crib that converts to a toddler bed but the mattress is flush to the bed on all 4 sides, so the rails wouldn't fit between the mattress and the sides of the crib.

Great product and much less expensive than the wooden conversion rails that are sold by crib manufacturers. I installed it in less than five minutes and its very sturdy. My son loves his new big boy bed! Only complaint is that it could be more padded. He bumped his head on it and he said it hurt. Also it would be nice if it came in a darker color to blend with a darker finish crib.

We bought this rail for my son when he transitioned to his toddler bed. We didn't like the rail that came with his convertible bed - we wanted something that could be situated in the middle of the bed no just one end. This was always easy to deal with and very secure. We never worried that our son would fall out. The only thing is that it doesn't blend in with the bedroom furniture but we knew that going in and decided it didn't matter all that much.

This works very well on our daughter's converted crib. She sleeps right up against it most nights. There is a metal disk that fits vertically on the side of the crib, between the back crib rail and the mattress springs. Then there are adjustable straps that lay flat on the mattress springs, under the mattress. This holds the rail in place on the other side of the mattress.

This safety rail works great. I haven't been able to test it out consistently because toddler is still co-sleeping. It has worked for the few naps we've managed in crib.

Unfortunately, this bed rail did not work for either the Oeuf Sparrow Crib or the Q Collection Cielo Crib.

Our convertible crib had no rail to keep our 3 y/o in bed who was tranistioning to toddler bed. He had fallen out of bed twice, as you can imagine it was very troubling to him. I found this product, it fit well and gave him room to exit the bed independently without getting hung up. This rail is very stable and your child can't pull it out. I would strongly recommend this product to other parents.

This works great for our daughter. I took the bumper that was being used on the rail of her crib and tied it around the frame because it is metal and our daughter moves around in bed quite a bit. Maybe could put some insulation around the frame?

Took out of box and installed in under 5 minutes. Item was exactly as pictured. Don't have to worry about my son falling out of his toddler bed anymore.

Set this up very easily for our two year old in her first "big girl bed." Very strong and supportive. VERY happy with this purchase!

These rails work perfectly for our 3 year old twins. (They started using them shortly after they turned 2.) I was concerned that they would somehow manage to fall out of the top or bottom spaces, but they've used this product for a year and there's never been a problem. The rail is so easy to install and has stayed in place, despite their pulling, tugging and other antics! This product was a great find.

I have a 1 1/2 year old who hated sleeping in her crib, when we converted her crib into a toddler bed we had no problems with her sleeping in it, but she kept rolling out and on to pillows we had placed next to her converted crib. i wanted something sturdy but did not want to pay an arm and a leg for it. so this rail is excellent, my daughter has not rolled out, she has figured out how to crawl out of the bed once she is awake and that works very well with the rails up, its easy to install - no tools needed at all!!! the only problem is its made of metal and it has no padding on the metal, so my daughter hit her mouth on it once - but was ok. i guess once she realized its not soft - we have not had that problem again (quick learner). but overall this is a great product and would highly recommend it..
