        This book really helped me. I'm the kind of person that needs really obvious, specific examples of what to do. Every skill they suggest is obvious and common sense but is not always easy to come up with in the heat of the moment. I have taught kindergarten for years and find that teaching my own child (age 2 with a 9 month old sister) can seem like a whole different game. Sometimes my ego gets in the way and sometimes I just plain don't know what to do. This book motivated me to start fresh with a positive perspective to teach my child. The anecdotes are great and the simplistic layout is clear and useful. I highly recommend this book to anyone parent looking for basic ideas for teaching cooperation.
