We originally bought the table with the smaller chairs. We love the quality and find this to be a VERY useful item. But my son's knees were hitting the bottom of the table and he seemed uncomfortable in the little chairs (23 months old at the time), so we ordered the bigger chairs and extension legs. In principle, this is a great idea. Also, the quality and usability are GREAT. But the one problem I have is that the larger chairs are too big of a jump in size up from the smaller chairs. The larger chairs do not slide under the table with the taller legs installed on the table (i.e. the arms on the chair hit the side of the table.) And, more importantly, my son's legs don't reach the floor on the larger chairs even though he is too big for the smaller chairs. So, he can't scoot himself into the table when he's on the bigger chair. I think there needs to be an intermediate size chair, or the big chair needs to be closer in size to the smaller chair. Other than that, we love this product and are eager to have our next child (on the way!) use it as she grows up.
