I ordered this product, put it together and the sound box was distorted on every sign. I had brand new batteries (that were a weird size and did not come with the product so I had to search many places to find them) and the item was assembled properly. I figured it was a faulty item, so I shipped it back and they shipped me a new one. The second item worked for a day, and the same thing happened. The sound box would not finish its phrases. After two defective products, I decided to give up and get the credit back. I would not recommend ordering this product!

This is so cute! So cute that I actually bought 4 of these to have 4 bases!!! This product should DEFINITELY be sold where you can purchases additional stands ... but since you can't, we just ordered 4 ( on the bright side, I have 3 additional replacement signs for each :) ... that's how much we LOVE this product! Made for an expensive product but WORTH EVERY PENNY to see the joy on my kids' faces!

Disappointed that there are multiple signs but only one posts that interacts with the signs. Young children do not want to stop playing to change the sign on the post.

I bought these signs with the hope of teaching my son, 3 and my daughter, 2, why Mommy did what she did while driving and to better direct "traffic" in my house. I was disappointed when I opened the box to find only one stand was included, not the expected 4, as in; one for each sign as depicted in the picture. Other than that little misunderstanding, the signs are colorful and exactly like the real thing. I have since made "posts" for the other signs, as we use the STOP sign most!

very disappointed to only get one post ~ hope they fix this soon considering they have been getting complaints now for a couple of years. I would rather pay more to get extra posts. My plans were to set up a traffic safety course to play games with my son and day care kids, so in the mean time we are going to make our own posts, but won't have the interactive ability.

I bought a set for myself and one as a birthday gift. Misleading!! and not sensible...4 signs and only 1 pole and 1 base...You really expect the parents or the kids to get off their bike and change the signs..you mislead...it should come with 4 posts and 4 bases to accomodate each sign..My dad now has to buy doll rods and something to make a base for thee other 3 for each set of signs we ordered...VERYVERY disappointing..[...]Really?

These signs are great, however the picture in the catalog and on the website suggests that you are getting 4 signs that can all be used at once. In reality you are getting 4 signs and ONLY ONE POST!!!!! So they cannot be used to set up a road course. You have to just keep switching the signs. Not as fun as it could be. I see the way they are displayed [...] to be false advertising. That said, my son does enjoy the toy.

This is a great product. However, the picture clearly suggests that there will be a post and a base for each sign. In reality, there is only one post and base which must be shared with all the signs. Not the fun and interactive toy that we thought we were getting. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

Bought these for my 17 month old son who loves street signs (we often walk around the neighborhood and he points to the signs and we have to read them to him). He loves his Stop sign. I agree that it would be better to have a post for each sign or at least have the option to purchase them. The only thing wrong with these is that sometimes, if the connection is not right, it will "say" the wrong thing. For example, with the Stop sign inserted it will say "Children at Play". This is my second set - the first one I had would only say "Children at Play" no matter what sign was inserted. I exchanged with no problem. My replacement set is definitely better but still about 25% of the time says the wrong thing. Overall my son is happy with it which is what ultimately matters to me!

This product is somewhat misleading if you only look at the picture and not read the description. It shows all four road signs on four different posts. But the four road signs only come with ONE post, that interchanges, therefore our child can't use all the road signs at once as he's riding his bike along the sidewalk or driveway. Kind of defeats the purpose of having "road signs" when you can't use them!

The kids love it, but you only get one post. It needs to at least give the option to buy more stands; one for each sign. My husband is now having to cut PVC pipe and make more stands, that will not be able to have interactive sound. They will love it more when we make a street with ALL signs in the driveway.
