We bought this for my 7 year old. It's perfect for playdates after school. Compact and light enough for her to carry in her backpack. It's comfortable and sets up easily. Too bad it has no cup holders!

This seat fits perfectly in between two other car seats in the back seat of a mini van! The kids that use it say it is comfortable! Perfect solution to that small but needed space!

I got this booster thinking I would use it as a 2nd seat in a relative's car during a recent trip. My 8-year-old hated it on sight, saying she didn't want to sit on a bubble. Then we tried it, and it was almost impossible to get the seatbelt through the 2nd anchor that is required to keep the seatbelt across the child's lap. Great concept but needs some work.

Good only for 3-point (shoulder-strapping) seatbelts, which is a drawback since safest place for kids is middle of back seat & many of those belts aren't 3-point. Also, not sure if this seat is FAA-approved for airplane seats (which have 2-point belts). Still, a good thing to have on hand for those stontaneous carpools or travel, if you're o.k. with your kid sitting in a less-safe place in car.

My family had to take a taxie to the airport to visit for the holidays but didn't want to take a bulky booster seat for my granddaughter...the answer was the Bubble Bum Booster Seat. When they arrived in NJ my son quickly and easily installed the Bubble Bum in my car. My son keeps the Bumble Bum in his car so in an emergency he can easily switch cars and not have to worry about a booster seat. Wish I had this when my children were toddlers.

It solve my need for the trip I took it to Venezuela but it need to be deeper. It is no good for long trips when the kid falls sleep.

We liked everything about this travel booster, except that each time we buckled in or took out the child, we had to feed the seatbelt through the side clasp, which was a bit of a hassle. If there were a way to improve this clasp design to make it easier to do this, that would be an improvement. Otherwise, it's great!

I bought this booster because I read that it can fit in between two car-seats and it does but it does get a little tedious and bothersome to slip seat belt into the booster's latches every time, especially when there isn't much space to fit your hands. The shoulder latch also slips off easily for my 3.5 year old. Other than that, it is light, compact and comfortable. I would recommend this but would like to add that when used in a car with leather seats and no car-seats on either side, it did seem flimsy and would not stay in place, it would slide around at every turn which didn't seem safe. Bottom line: between two car-seats and on cloth seats it works great; leather not so much.

This inflatable booster seat is exactly what I needed! I have been driving my son and 2 nephews around in my Prius for several years, but now we have a new baby and can't fit 2 boosters in the back with the baby's seat. (The oldest nephew rides up front.) I thought I'd have to get a minivan, until I found the Bubble Bum. This little booster fits perfectly in the middle space of the back seat, so it's a big convenience for me. However, be forewarned: anytime you cram 3 seats tightly together, the kids will not be able to buckle themselves independently, so there is still some hassle with loading and unloading.
The one down-side of this seat is that you have to slip the belt in and out of a safety clip every time the child gets in or out of the seat. It's pretty awkward, and in a tight space it's practically impossible for a child (even age 8) to do this on his/her own. So you have to first move the adjacent booster to the side, buckle the child into the middle seat, then place the belt through the clip. Then reverse the process when they exit the car.
That said, I feel pretty good about the safety and construction of this little seat when it's installed properly.
Some people have said the seat is unstable side-to-side. That is probably true if there is nothing beside the seat. But I think most of us are using it in the middle seat, so stability is not a problem.

This is a great product for travel or squeezing a third child seat in the back seat of smaller cars. Unfortunately, the only available color is bright purple. My son hates the color and will sit on it only under protest. I can see the bright color is helpful so you don't leave this seat in a taxi or rental car, but another color might be more acceptable to boys! I'd love to see it in bright turquoise, green, or orange.

I have been waiting for a car seat like this to come around. I have a Honda crv. The back seat fits three passangers but only two if you are using standard car seats and/or high back boosters. Now I can use the Bumble Bum in between the two car seats and transport three kids.
I have a five year old that is still in a five point harness and will be for as long as possible but the Bumble Bum allows me to car pool. I also can't wait to use this for our summer travels. It will be so much better than flying with standard bulking car seats. Love it!

Using this seat is the only easy solution we have found to fitting three car/booster seats across one bench seat. Although regular seats fit, it is extremely difficult to reach the buckles with three regular car/booster seats. This seat is very narrow and works perfectly in the narrow middle. I am using it for my 6 year old who weighs 41 pounds and I would definitely suggest following manufacturer instructions not to use it for any child smaller than that because it is tiny and may not position a smaller child properly.

We used this booster seat on a family trip to Florida. It was great to not have to carry a awkward booster through the airport, it collapsed and fit into one of our bags--ready in seconds upon getting to the rental car! Only complaint is that it is tippy, around corners etc. The bigger the child the better I'd say, in order to keep from tipping over. Our son is 4.5 yrs and average size, and did ok staying upright once he realized how to do this.

Our three year old is 40 pounds and with her and an infant didn't want two Go-Go Babyz Travelmates (as awesome as though are). Folded this up and put it in our backpack to carry on the plane. Inflated in three large breaths. Much more comfortable for our daughter than the last time with no carseat on the plane. Once we got to vacation she enjoyed it as a booster seat. She loves the purple color and we love the portability and quick set up. Note we have not used this in a car since she is not old enough for a simple booster. Also since it was folded up and in a backpack the flight attendants didn't see it and therfore didn't ask to see a sticker of FAA approval which I don't think it has, but we didn't need.
