The child unit camera must be connected to a PC. The USB adaptor is compatible with PCs (not MAC) running Windows 7, Vista, or XP. However, once the child unit is plugged into an Internet-connected PC, you can use a Skype app or program (any version) to access from any Skype-accessible device, including Mac®, iPhone®, iPod Touch®, iPad®, and more to connect to that computer.
Monitor includes rechargeable battery pack with 3 "AA" batteries. Camera accepts 3 "AA" batteries (sold separately).
