it would be better if it was a piece that snapped on versus sticking because the backing does not stay on, it keeps peeling off.

      Good product. I have had my Gummi Crib Rail on my child's crib for 3 months now and it has not come up at all. It is easy to wipe clean and my baby chews on it every day when he wakes up from his naps!

        Bought this do not like bought different one at baby store that is much better. This one i tried from this website is Cheap and baby can peal off only a stick gummie piece that first fit whole length of crib. Ruins cribs finish also if pulled off. Not happy about return policy either. I dhouldnt have to pay for shipping twice especially on a product that I don't like.

        I was looking for an item that could be placed at the top of the crib rails and ends to keep my grandson from chewing on his crib. It took me 3 deliveries to get the strips with the adhesive on it. On the first night my grandson was able to pull the Gummi strips completely off so I had to use sealing tape to reattach the strips.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        We bought this crib rail cover because our 13-month-old had turned his crib into a teether and it was starting to look like beavers lived in it. I trust One Step Ahead, so I bought this product thinking it would be a good solution to the crib-teething problem. We followed the directions, but the gummi cover does not stay stuck to the crib. It looks terrible, and I am sure our child will peel it off within a few days. I'm very disappointed in this product and will probably contact OSA to ask for a credit.

            This thing stays for 3 hrs and then came off. So my husband tried to stick it back on the crib, overnight was ok. The next day it came off again! After trying to put it back over and over again, the sticky part is not sticky anymore! So I just took the whole thing out! I got this this three weeks ago and now its no use! Wish I kept all the packaging so I can send it back!

                I bought this for my son's crib as he chewed on the wood and I wanted to prevent this. I followed the suggested instructions with the use of cleaning area with alcohol first and then applying and the product still does not want to stick to the surface. I find myself having to use a blow dryer about every other day to get it to fasten back down and still have issues after doing so.

                  When my daughter was teething she never bit on her crib, my son on the other hand just turned 1 and is working on his 5th tooth, and apparently is part beaver HA HA!! I have a convertable crib and my mother has an older crib with a smaller rail, I bought 2 of the same smaller sizes and it works great on both cribs, for my crib I put the wrap around the inside to the top half of the crib to protect the side he can get to, we haven't had any issues at all with it! it's great!

                  Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                      This didn't work for us at all. The guard would not stick to the vertical portion of the rail for more than a day and would pop off during the night leaving our daughter to chew on both it and the crib in the morning. We were disappointed.

                      Good product in that it does keep my child from chewing on his wooden crib. However, he has figured out how to pull the product loose. I would prefer the fabric covers that tie but with the convertible bed, they don't fit!

                        I purchased this product because I thought my son was going to chew his way out of his crib. I installed it according to the package and within 24 hours he had half of it pulled off. I tried what the insert suggested and reheated the glue with a hair dryer but it didn't work. I contacted customer service and they were wonderful. I thought maybe I just got a bad one and they sent me a replacement without question. But again within 24 hours of putting the new one on, it was coming off. I gave up and he has since destroyed his crib.

                        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                        Merchant response: When placing over teething marks, please make sure you lightly sand the rail before placing the Gummi Rail over it. All crib finishes are different. Please discontinue when your child can remove the Gummi Rail. Thank you for your feedback.
