We bought this humidifier after going through a few other cheap ones...the cheap ones aren't worth it. It's always a pain to clean these things, but this one isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things and it does a great job. The water tanks are easy to fill....and I just have to do an extra two thumbs up to One Step Ahead because when we had an issue with our unit, they shipped us a new one. We have bought a lot of things from OSA over the years...and we will continue being loyal customers because of this...and recommend you to everyone we know!

We bought a similar version of this warm mist humidifier from a different brand and it lasted for a couple years but eventually a circuit or something blew inside when we turned it on one night and it had to be tossed into the trash.

This humidifier is very similar but there are some details on it that seem to be more durable such as the handles on the water containers, the front panel etc. Otherwise it works just like the previous model we had. The water does boil to emit the steam but that seems obvious to me and is almost like "white noise" for sleeping.
We use the device for my daughters eczema and for colds. I just used it in my room last night for a continuous sinus headache I'd been having and today-- no headache. I like the cup on top for inhalants and it is pretty easy to clean although I admit I don't do it as often as I should.
One of the best on the market.

I had an old one of these that worked for at least 10 years. This one worked for about 10 nights, then stopped working. Leaps and Bounds made it easy to return.

This humidifier does a very good job and is quiet. I love that it has two water containers--you can fill one while it's drawing from the other, and it runs a long time without having to worry about refilling either. I was taking decongestants every night and the folloiwng morning until we started using this product. Now I breath freely all night and don't wake up with a sinus headaches anymore.

Not a fan of this product. The boiling noise is loud once you put it past level 2. When "boiling" it has a burning smell to it.

I use this in my daughter's room as she has allergies, and recently got a cold. The cold was gone within about a week and a half. My niece and nephew, who have the same cold, are using a different humidifier and they have had the cold for almost a month now, and still have it. This product works amazing. I'm buying a second one for my room as I too have bad allergies and it definately helps!

Works well with no worries of germs for baby's sleep area. Can get hot IF you do not turn it off in morning before taking baby out of crib--cools quickly.

This mister is very nice and does a very good job. I bought two and one works very well. The other is bit touchy and is apparently either on full-blast or off. However, when they are running, they work very well. Like any humidifier, they are a bit of a pain to clean, but I don't know of a product yet that gets around that. I recommend this product.

We are about to order a second one of these humidifiers. With the cold & flu season here, we've been using humidifiers often. We have four of the junky cheaper ones that always make a mess on the floor and are tough to keep clean. I was looking for a good solution and thought this one sounded promising. We've had it for a month now and it has worked as promised. The kids' rooms are nice and humid and it helps them sleep better.
