Floatation Swim Trainer

Item #: 22048

Make swimming and potty breaks easier, with our 2-in-1 floatation swimsuit. The swim vest keeps kids buoyant in the water and zips off quickly on land. Gives kids water confidence, without impeding toilet training. Works well with swim diapers, too. Colors may vary. Imported.

Comments about Aqua Leisure Floatation Swim Trainer Blue Md/lg (33-55 Lbs.):

We got this for the summer, water park. Anyways, when my son and I were in the deep end the chest floaty came up. He looked like a turtel going in the shell, yes I was still holding him. He doesn't like it, can't walk in it, inside the pool or out, he falls from one side to the other. If it came down to safetly, say we were on a boat and it went down, and my son had this on and was alone for whatever reason, I don't think it would really help him. I wouldn't recommend it, it's cute, but not as effected as I was hopping for.

Comments about Aqua Leisure Floatation Swim Trainer Blue Md/lg (33-55 Lbs.):

I bought the SM/MD jacket in blue for my 17 lb boy. The specs on the sm/md indicate that it's appropriate for 20 lbs and over, so we were expecting the jacket to actually be a bit loose. However, it turned out that I was barely able to zip up the jacket on my kid and that it was suffocatingly tight.

It was a bummer since we were looking forward to this jacket. The product itself is good, although, the specs on it need to be redefined. I would recommend going for a larger size.

Comments about Aqua Leisure Floatation Swim Trainer Blue Md/lg (33-55 Lbs.):

I bought the size medium which is supposed to go up to 55lbs and it is very, very tight. While I understand it's supposed to be tight for safety, it's really difficult to zip up and my son gets uncomfortable. He is 21 months and just over 30lbs so it really shouldn't be this tight. It's also short, and rides up. Really bulky and too uncomfortable for him, he refuses to wear it so really a waste of $$ for me.

I got this for my 6 mo old who is big- almost 30 lbs. It fit around him, but when I zipped it up, it nearly choked him. It was too long. This is definitely meant for older children, but he won't fit in it when he's older, so the sizing is off.

I ordered this for my daughter who is 2 and small for her age. It's supposed to fit from 20-33 lbs. My daughter is at the most 24 lbs and it is extremely snug. She can wear it now but will outgrow it for next year. I was hoping to get at least 2 years out of it! Will not buy this again. Very disappointing.

I bought the small size of this vest for my 2 year old daughter who is barely 23 lbs. The vest was way too small for her and she hated that it zipped in the back. Also, when she got into the water, the vest floated up around her face which she hated. I loved the idea of this vest and swimsuit but I will be returning it due to the sizing.

I bought the swim suite/trainer for my 18 month old granddaughter. She is 27 lbs and about 34 inches tall. I ordered the small/medium and it was pretty tight. I know these things have to be form fitting but I might have gotten the next size up if I had to do it again. She is wearing it and it will be fine for the short summers we have in the Northeast.

Comments about Aqua Leisure Floatation Swim Trainer Blue Md/lg (33-55 Lbs.):

We have small two year old twin boys. These are really tight on them. We want them tight but they are really hard to zip, which is not good for a wiggly 2 yr old that doesn't want to wear it in the first place. Once the boys got them on, they seem to enjoy swimming with them. They call them their turtle shells. In the past we have just held the boys while in the pool, but I don't like to because they are so slippery. This product helped to give us something secure to hold on to while holding them in the water. I wouldn't feel comfortable letting them swim alone with this on because their face would go in the water.

It seems like a great idea but there were a few flaws.
It zips in the back which my 2 year old didnt like, not to mention it was SOOO SNUG!!! She is only 23# and it is supposed to go up to 33 #but it was so snug she kept fussing with it and didnt want it on. Also there is no strap in the crotch area so once she gets into the pool it rides up to her chin and thats it - she wants it off!
                  Maybe better for bigger kids.

I bought this for my 4 yr old using the weight guidelines. Because she is thin but of average height, the swim suit was too short for her torso. The floatation device (the important part) fit her perfectly and held her head above water w/o our assistance. It should be tight so that the head and shoulders don't sink into teh vest. I love this product.
