We were excited about this toy since we thought it would save water while my sons role play being firefighters outside with the garden hose. However, once we got it and we tested it out and found out very quickly that both tanks we purchased leaked. Do not waste your time or money on this toy. Great idea but bad execution.

My oldest son begged me for this for months, so I got it for him as a surprise for doing so well in preschool. He loves it, but it is difficult for him to operate at times and seems a bit bulky for him to manage. I gave this 3 stars because of these issues, however, he would rate it a 5!

My two oldest boys love firetrucks and anything to do with them, so I thought these would be perfect. We filled up the tank and then nothing happened. The water just slowly drips out. We ended up just getting simple waterguns at the dollar store and those worked much better. It was sad as we were really excited to see them play with these. Now they just use it to play make believe.

Loved the idea of this for my little firefighter's 4th birthday. He loved it too, until it started coming apart the first day he played with it.

The connection that attaches hose to the water tank comes apart very easily and constantly needs to be reattached.

My son got this for his birthday the first of June. He has been putting out "fires" with this fire hose pack. He loves that he can have the tank filled up and put it on his back. He was worried he would outgrow it, but I assured him the adjustable straps will allow him to use it for a long time! He feels like a real fire fighter. I like it bc my flowers, er, fires are getting watered! :) It's not too heavy for a sturdy young boy to carry on his back. It's great!

I bought this for my son two years ago for his third birthday. He IS a fireman! He loved it! Yet not once did it work as intended. We could not get the water out, the trigger was just too hard obviously a specification flaw there was nothing jamming it (I ended up taking it apart to see if there was a rock or plastic, anything, ithe way). So he ended up using it empty, still not being able to pull the trigger.. Finally just threw it away.

Now he is 5 and he STILL remembers this thing! Asks for it constantly. So we will try it again. Though I will have to return it if it does not work this time.

My 5yr old just got this for his birthday and he has had so much fun with it. It's easy to fill and use. I marked it to be used by preschool or school aged children because it can be heavy when filled. We have only had it for a couple of days so it's hard to say how durable it will be.

My son loves this!!! It's like a water gun with a huge tank. It's pretty heavy when it's full but you could put less water for smaller children.

This was an excellent purchase! My 4 year old daughter loves to play with this...she will water everything in sight while pretending to put out fires! She just turned 4 & I don't consider her to have great upper body strength yet she can easily operate the sprayer. I help her fill it up (which is simple) & she has no trouble carrying it around on her back...I've asked her if it is too heavy when full & she says NO (we fill it about 3/4 tank). I would recommend pumping it a few times first before giving it to your child since the first few pumps are a bit tough. I would certainly buy this again!

My son absolutely loves this water blaster. He asks to go outside and spray things everyday. I will admit that is was hard to figure out at first how it works but once you do it is great. This is the first water blaster that he can actually work without trouble. We also like that it sits on his back because he is able to run around and not drop or drag the blaster. Great fun for any kid.

I bought this toy for my son's third birthday. It looked like something he would love in the catalog. When we got it I was surprised at how cheap it looked. I did not pay much for it so I did not think much about that. When he tried to use it, it was hard to pull the nozzle out. He is very big and strong for his age, and this toy was too hard for him to use. A five year old at his party had less trouble, but it was still hard. I sprayed a little cooking oil on it to loosen it up and that helped, but then it became an outdoor permanently toy. This could use some improvement for sure.

The fireman's hose was one of my 3 year old's favorite gifts! The tank gets too heavy if it's filled completely, but we just fill it halfway. We have been amazed at the distance this can shoot! It helps my 3 year old keep up with his two older brothers and their water guns. We have not had trouble with it leaking while in use.

All I can say is my 3 1/2 year old loves this toy and has played with it everyday since we've got it! The canister does get heavy if you fill it up all the way, so I just fill it half way up and it sprays water for a long time.
