Comments about One Step Ahead Euro Ii Versatile Highchair/chair Espresso:

Ipurchased this high chair for my granddaughters first birthday. I was disappointed in the overall quality of the product. Several pieces arrived defective and when the replacement parts arrived they were defective as well. When I speak of defective I want to mention the holes were drilled in the wrong place, the side pieces were cracked and dented. The brace that was in the front was splintered so that one would scratch themselves when being removed from the chair. I was very disappointed in the overall product and there appears to be no quality control. Apparently it is acceptable to send customers defective replacement parts. I went through the hassle of taking the chair apart and returned it. I will not purchase any other merchandise from this company and I will not hesitate to share my less than positive experience with this mail order company. I also agree with another review when they mentioned the poor directions included, the parts named to not match the directions for the pictures included.

I love the concept of the chair. But it's not durable. There are lots of scratches and knicks easily. The wood even cracked. I won't buy it again.
I do like that my daughter can easily sit at the table with us and is at a good height. I just wish it was durable

Comments about One Step Ahead Euro Ii Versatile Highchair/chair Espresso:

We bought this highchair to save space and liked the idea of it turning into a chair to use longer. The harness is kind of a mess. It does not stay in place and is not easy to click together. Also, the plastic covering on the foam cushion has ripped in several places and we had to just remove it. We've had it for about a year and I would have expected it to last longer. I do like the quality of the chair itself and it is easy to clean, which is nice.

Comments about One Step Ahead Euro Ii Versatile Highchair/chair Espresso:

First of all, the chair is not constructed entirely of hardwood as the description indicates. We were very irritated with the strap system. It's complicated. The entire system only connects in one place to the chair and you have to untangle it and lay it out just so before setting your child on top of it in order to buckle them in. Overall, the item was just far inferior in quality and ingenuity/usability to other items we've purchased from One Step Ahead.

We purchased this same chair for our daughter 3.5yrs ago & it's been great! Ordered another one for the little guy & it was SO disappointing:(( The sides are no longer made of wood...it's now made of pressed particle board that was full of knicks and NOT the same quality AT ALL!
No need to respond customer serivce rep telling me to contact you. I've already done that & honsetly...One Step Ahead should be listing what the item is now made of.

We bought this highchair because our lo sat with her arms pinned at her sides in our other one. When we put her in this one for the first time she instantly was a little person at the table feeding herself. We love it! It is easy to clean and compact. The only con is that one of the holes wasn't drilled quite deep enough so assembly could have been easier. I know we will be using this for a long time.

The chair seems safe and durable and I like the concept of use over time. Be advised: the catalog suggests 15 minutes assembly time. Give yourself at least an hour... the illustrated directions are inaccurate. They show 10 bolts the same size. Not so. There are two longer bolts that are to fasten in the bottom rail. The crotch restraint belt is not illustrated correctly. I had to take the assembled chair apart and find where the long bolts fit at the same time concerned about having the right harness and straps. This is the main reason I would not recommend this to a friend.

A very well-made chair, extremely stable and sturdy. The seat seemed comfortable for my 7 month old and I liked that it had a 5 point harness. Unfortunately, my baby is large for his age and it was a little awkward to slide him in and out without putting the seat lower (too low for him for sitting). I love One Step Ahead and their excellent products, and was impressed with their very helpful Customer Service who allowed me to return the product without the original packaging and invoice (which I had already thrown away). Although this chair did not work for me, I will continue to order from this company.

My daughter can wriggle out of just about anything. This was the fourth high chair we have purchased and finally have a chair she can not stand up in or wriggle out of. We did have issues with the bolts not being long enough, but one phone call to a very helpful rep and we had new bolts overnighted. Love this high chair and will be purchasing another for my toddler.

The highchair portion of this chair is unusable! It is nearly impossible to take your child in and out of it. After a couple tries my daughter was signing "all done". Furthermore, they aren't even selling the tray for it.

We do love this product as a chair (already have one for my son) so we will keep it and use it when my daughter no longer requires the safety straps.
