      Comments about Regalo Easy Step 24"" Extension:

      I had to return this because it was too tall for my gate. Please note that this is meant for the extra tall gates- I don't think it was noted in the description and i didnt check the measuremets one step ahead does not have free return shipping, so I had to pay $20 just the return this extension due to its size.
      I have a 63 inch wide hallway that we wanted a gate to block. We ended up with the regalo extra wide gate plus a 24 inch extension. The gate is not very sturdy an I wouldn't put in near stairs.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
