My 4 yr old granddaughter loved this mall. All of her Disney princess and princes fit well. They apparently love to ride the elevator as well as take the steps. I do wish that there were more 3-D wall features.

Assembly is about 2hrs. Be prepared to have an extra set of hands for the first part of the setup, which is the most difficult. The instructions are fairly clear, except for one change that the mfgr made which is CRITICAL to assembly, but the change was hidden in the box on a very small piece of paper not included w the instruction book!.....when installing the elevator you must remove a screw and then reinsert it, otherwise the elevator doesn't fit. We finally discovered the paper after spending quite some time frustrating over the assembly process.

My daughter LOVES this mall and so do her friends! This will last for a long time. The wood construction is great.

We considered buying a certain "dream house" but decided to get this because it appeared sturdier and was more reasonably priced. We are so glad we did! It is sturdy, flawless, and it was super easy to assemble (with the 'help' of a toddler and an excited 8-yr-old) in about 2 hours. The instruction manual was easy to understand, all the parts are labeled with small removable numbered stickers, and the screws were in little numbered compartments! The appearance is beautiful: each piece came out of the box in perfect condition and the screws are all finished with the color of the background so it has a very upscale look. The furniture pieces are simple but durable. The only drawback is that it is quite heavy because the pieces are all wood, but this also makes it sturdy (enough that our youngest thinks it's her playhouse and climbed up on the 2nd floor today!) Little girls will love to take their dolls to the mall...ours sure do! (ONLY criticism is that we couldn't have it shipped directly because we live overseas, so we had to use an APO shipping company, but since the original shipping was free, we only had to pay once for shipping!) I can't recommend this item enough!

We got the doll mall for my 4 yr. old daughter for Christmas and she loves it. She plays with it everyday. We like that the tall "barbie" and/or "princess" dolls fit in the rooms. The backgrounds of the mall are darling and look good. The additional pieces of "furniture" are included and work well with the mall. Our biggest complaint is the "elevator" - it's poorly constructed and it does not move up/down with ease. Overall the mall does not seem sturdy. Happy that batteries are not required.

LOVE this Doll/Barbie Mall! Bought this for my 8-yr-old daughter and she loves it. Quality construction, primarily wood very little plastic. It is so much fun and comes with wooden accessories. Cute cute cute! The elevator works well too. One tip-some of the screws were too large for a couple of parts but I worked with a Philips screwdriver and got them to fit-(elevator prongs and diner rail). Get this she'll LOVE it!

We got this for our 8 yr old daughter for Christmas and it is one of the cutest doll houses I've seen. My girls also have the Annabelle & Savannah dollhouses by Kidkraft. My only complaint is the Mall is a little smaller than their houses. I don't see why they had to make it smaller since it's a mall and should be bigger if anything! Other than it being a little small, I have no complaints! It's absolutely precious!

This dollhouse/mall was easy to assemble with clear instructions. It took us about 90 minutes. It has so many nice details, including great accessories and painted screw heads that match the paint they are screwing into. Also, instead of using white stickers for the parts they used easy to peel off vinyl stickers that left no residue. My daughter is absolutely delighted. There were a few minor scratches on some of the pieces, but not noticeable in final construction; otherwise, this would have been rated 5 stars. I would also recommend putting the letter of the screws on both the back and the front of the cardboard they are attached to for even easier assembly.

This wooden barbie mall was poorly constructed not to mention poorly packaged. Since this was my 4yr old's present from Santa, I did not put it together until a week before Christmas. Very Bad Decision! The elevator is only screwed on by one screw and the rest is sticky on back, as if that will hold an elevator going up and down. The first time I moved the elevator the whole track came off as expected. Also, the shelf was damaged, cracked and needs re-glued. Not what you expect from a [$] wooden toy!

We just bought this dollhouse for our daughter for Christmas. My husband put it together the other night because the instructions suggested that it would take close to 3 hours to build (and we didn't want to wait until the night before to get started). It only took my husband a little over an hour and he had no problems at all. Each part fit perfectly and it seems very sturdy! We have the toy hidden but can't wait to see her face on Christmas morning! She loves the barbie size princesses and this mall is perfect for them!
