We LOVE our Diaper Dekor! We actually have two... one upstairs in our 9 month old's nursery and on the main floor of the house. Both of them have held up great so far. We use each one multiple times a day every day. We never realized how much we relied on it until we traveled and were without it. One dirty diaper can stink up an entire hotel room in an hour. We've never had an issue with a lingering smell in our home. The Dekor always holds it in. There are times when you can smell the old diapers after having just thrown a diaper in, but it normally goes away after just a minute or two.

I am using cloth diapers with a diaper service. I searched high and low for a diaper pail that would contain the smell since the dirty diapers go out once a week. A lot of the more popular pails make you squish the diaper down into a twisted bag which would be super gross with a cloth diaper. The trap door on this does a good job of containing the smell but isn't hard to put a dirty diaper through. The refills seem to last a long time and aren't badly priced.

We bought this pail because it was simple to use and that is a great quality of it, however, after about 6 months the smell somehow starts to linger and it is impossible to get rid of. I found myself changing the bag almost every day because I thought it would help the smell, and have cleaned the inside with bleach but it continues to smell. My son's room just smells when I go in there because of the pail- just ordering a new different one from this site so hoping to have better luck.
