This was the best present this year for my 5-year old son. He's barely taken it off for the last 2 weeks. He's had lots of costumes over the last couple of years like ironman, spiderman, transformers, etc., but this Vader suit is by far the best I've seen!

Got this for my just-turned-6-year-old. He wore it to 5 different Halloween events over the course of the weekend. That's about all it had in it. Seams were splitting. Had to safety pin the once velcro-ed cape on, etc. It does run a little on the big size and the mask does limit vision some (esp at dark). That having been said, my son loved it, his friends thought it was super cool, and it served our purpose.

I was very surprised of poor quality especially since this was not cheap. The mask is awful, can't see through the eyes very blurry n is huge with not appropriate adjustment straps. Costume is cute but very cheaply made. Should have been $25 not [$]. Very disappointed!!

This costume is mini-Star War's fan's dream come true! My son and his friends actually fight over who gets to wear this outfit, when we host play-dates in our home. The outfit is well-constructed and really takes a beating, with very little wear and tear. It's held up quite well! The mask appears to be heavy and you'd think that the boys would get hot wearing it. But I've never heard them complain. It's totally realistic looking and the boys just love wearing it. Although we purchased it as a Halloween costume, we continue to get everyday use out of it. There continues to be some great daily photo opportunities, with this outfit. :)

The costume lasted less than a day versus the clone costume bought elsewhere is over a year old and still being used (5 year old son). Fabric quality is poor and helmet fit is extremely poor. Out of the box it appears to be the best Star Wars type of costume on the market for a child, but it is the worst we have purchased thus far... perhaps leading to significant disappointment because of initial expectations.

Ryan absolutely loved it! It looks wonderful. The material is thin and kept getting caught on the velcro while we were getting it on him, but it's just for Halloween, so we knew it wouldn't last forever. We did however, split it into the top and bottoms so he could wear it to school. Luckily, grandma knows how to sew a bit and could put elastic in the waist to hold the pants up. Why don't they make costumes in 2 pieces?!

Great costume.,after looking at MANY other Darth Vader costumes.It was made well and held up to an active boy.My son is a very tall 6 year old and the costume was a little big on him

Because the fabric is very thin, it has torn easily around the areas where the plastic is stitched to the fabric. My son, who is 6, loves it though and would rate this product 5 stars.

My son loved his costume. [...]There were multiple "Darth Vaders" at his school Halloween party and parade..but his was the best! Excellent quality and detail..well worth the money.

This costume looked great when you first put it on....parts of the costume just started to fall apart. Would expect it to make it thru the day for that money.

The helmet was worn by my son for two minutes before he started complaining. I wanted to see what the problem was so I put it on. You can not see out of it without blurry vision. Also although it was a cute outfit, it tears very easily (not the material but the fake rubber pieces on it).

My 6 1/2 year old LOVES this outfit. Dressing up is his what he does and this is one of his favorites. Darth Vader...he's not just of Halloween anymore. Cons-the breathing device is a bummer and saber is delicate (for boy use) but the overall score is 4 out of 5. PLUS-it is fun to watch the movies dressed in black!

We bought the costume for Halloween, but he loves it for daily dress-up/Star Wars play. At first I thought a mask/helmet surrounding head like a hat would be better, but having the back half of his head exposed lets him breath easier. My only concern is that it is hard to see through the eyeglasses, and peripheral vision is minimal.
