My baby wouldn't take a bottle and she took this one. I ebf and I was thrilled when she took this bottle because it means I can go on a date with my husband. I think it's the wide nipple base and sort of shorter round nipple, when I see my daughter eat from it it looks similar to breastfeeding. She likes the slow flow too. She is 3 months old.
Fyi, just the bottom of the bottle is soft, the nipple is silicone and is hard like most nipples. I was surprised at this.

I would not say this is a "cure all" for babies that won't take a bottle. My 3 month old would not take a bottle and I had read that wide-base nipples were best for breast-fed babies. After trying this one and another one from this website touted to be best for breast-fed babies, neither worked. I actually got my baby to take a narrow Evenflo slow-flo nipple (actually the cheapest bottle I bought!) after a little work. However, if your baby doesn't take a bottle don't expect to offer them a bottle and all of sudden they will take it....any bottle takes work and coaxing etc. The Evenflo just seemed to work best for us, but still required a little work. These babies can be stubborn!

I wouldn't go as far to say that this bottle has solved our bottle feeding issues. But, our 5 month old seems to like it. This is the first bottle she has taken without throwing a huge fuss over.
