Great fan. It is a soft foam so if child sticks their fingers it stops and doesn't hurt them (unlike other "kid" fans). It works great to just create a bit of a breeze, esp. when using a bassinet in the Iowa summers. Sometimes the neck gets bent out a bit and won't stay in just the right spot. Also, it is battery powered and does tend to drain them, so make sure to take a spare set if you are going to be out all day.

This fan seems like a great idea (other than possibly teaching toddlers that it's safe to touch a moving fan), but it stopped working after only about 5 or 10 minutes of use. It works again after a break, then stops. Maybe we just got a dud. Also the "blades", while safe to touch, may be a tad too soft because they bend out of shape a little too easily and this affects performance too. At this point I'm not sure I can return it.

This is one of the best stroller fans we have ever used. We use it for both our baby and our toddler on the car seat and on their stroller.

We use this in the car because my daughter is rear facing and doesn't get any air flow which is hard on hot summer days. It works great.

I bought two of these and just love them. We have had an unusually hot summer this year so I purchased these so I could continue to walk and enjoy being outside, these make it more bearable for my five month old and 3 year old to sit in the stroller for longer periods of time. People we see us around town just rave bout what a good idea they are.

I actually own 2 of these fans. I originally bought this fan 3 years ago when my oldest was little and rear facing. The a/c did not get to her till the whole car was cool. So this allowed her to stay cool. I just bought a 2nd one for my 6 month old b/c the 3 year old did not want to give hers up even though she is forward facing now. She thinks it is awesome having her own personal fan! Since the blades are foam it can not hurt little fingers.

I was just looking for something to keep my daughter cool because she gets hot really quickly and it did the job perfectly i clipped it to her stroller and car seat on hot days and she loves it so much so she likes to stick her fingers in it and i love the fact that its foam and it stops easily and doesnt hurt her little fingers only thing it doesnt always stay still

This is a great product! We use it in the car. It's always so hot in Miami and this allows some more air circulation for my son while he's rear facing in the back seat. Just attach it to the seat belt and away we go! He likes the breeze, and there are no pinched fingers because of the soft blades. Wish I had purchased this earlier. My husband wants one for himself!

I attached it to my son's stroller. It kept him very cool, blades don't hurt little fingers, and easy to use. At times it was difficult to find good place to attach to stroller.

I got exactly what I wanted a simple fan to cool my little boy for when we went on walks and he keeps cool when it's a hot day I even bought one for my friends baby girl and they enjoy it as well it's nothing fancy but it gets the job done :)

Both my kids get warm very easily (like their momma). Plus my youngest has to wear the Doc-Band which can make hot days even hotter to bear. We can go on walks in the stroller for longer periods because they are more comfortable. Try not to let your toddler get a hold of it though, its not super durable and they can get their hair caught in it.

We recently were on a vacation in Disney World with my 4 grandchildren(ages 5, 4, 18 & 12 Months). These work great and gave the kids some relief fromt the heat. They secured very well on the strollers and they did not hurt themselves if they touched the fan. I would never go a trip in hot weather without them. The only downside is that the batteries need to be changes each day. (We ran them from anywhere from 6-12 hours each day). Be sure to take a tool along to be able to change the batteries. Great Product!!!

When we are out with our double stroller, both fans running, we can't go more than a few feet before someone stops us to ask where we got our fans. We are going to to Walt Disney World next year and we made business cards with a picture of the fan and the One Step Ahead website so we can hand them out when people stop us - otherwise we would never get to see any attractions!

I purchased this fan for the fair this year and it worked great! I had dozens of people comment and several parents/grandparents ask where I got it. I gave them the OSA website address. I should have gotten two, since we used a double stroller. The blades are very soft and stop when curious fingers are near. Just make sure to take extra AA batteries if you are going to be using it for an extended period of time. This is one of the best things I have gotten from OSA. It paid for itself the first day I used it!!! Highly recommended!
