We loved this carrier when we used it for our daughter last year and my sister has one for her little girl too. Perfect! Love the little levels on the base - make it easy to install correctly! Compartment in front of base for storage, super easy to install with LATCH, without takes a bit longer (we have 3 cars and 2 without LATCH so we have 3 bases). Note that the infant padding inside comes out at 11 lbs - we had it in there about 5 lbs past that and poor thing was squished! Can get a little warm (as with all carriers) - daughter did sweat sometimes - just had to accomodate by removing layers as needed in winter and try to keep car AC on high when hot - keep in mind baby is rearfacing in backseat in many cases facing the sun (which if you cover kid with a blanket to prevent sun, it's REALLY hot then!)- just asking for the kid to be warm you know? Used with JJ Cole Urban Bundle Me during winter - AWESOME! No more blankets flying across the parking lot when going into a store -just flip the cover up! (Didn't need to bundle HER up - she'd get too hot with all those layers) Anyway, car seat is great and easy to adjust, tightens easily. Easy to clean. Daughter loved it. Rocks back and forth on the floor like makeshift swing and does sit on most shopping cart front seats even though not advertised. Also works well with Jeep jogging strollers. This wasn't our original pick but when we actually got the seats off the shelf and compared this to the other seats, this one seemed most sturdy and best constructed, and easiest to use - I'm glad we compared before buying! I later read reviews for infant carriers on Consumer Reports and this was their top rated seat! =) Stylish designs too. Keep in mind that with WHATEVER seat you buy, don't actually expect to get to use it to the full weight AND be able to carry it. Our daughter outgrew length by 9 mo (very tall) and even at 18 lbs (her weight) plus the carrier's weight, that thing was so heavy to carry and put in the car and get out, that I regularly pulled muscles in my back even with caution. So, I ended up using it as a regular car seat until we bought our convertible seats. Oh, to help with your balance and the weight of carrier with your growing bundle of joy, hold it in the crook of you arm (bend of your elbow) - this makes carrying it seem a lot lighter. =) Cost is worth it for your baby!

I love it! For a first time mom I found that everything about this infant seat was easy and met or exceeded all my expectations. I wanted something safe and something that was going to be easy for me to use as a single mom on the go. It is very easy to clean, very durable and I would recommend it to anyone.
