This product is GREAT for me and my husband and if we had older kids. Our 4 yr old understands to close the top magnet but the 2 yr old pulls it down, doesn't understand closing it. And bugs still get in when closed properly. It's not as tight or sealed up as needs to be. One more magnet and make them longer so it could be held tighter to keep bugs out and a little more Velcro areas. I've had wasp in my house since installing this and it's as tight and is properly installed. Just needs some tweaks to the product.

This screen works better than we could have guessed when we bought it! It fits perfectly in our door frame and keeps flies out of the kitchen. It seems to be made of good quality material and the magnets keep the two panels closed. We love that we can keep our back door open now for some fresh air in the house as if it were a real screen door.

The only issue we've had is our 2 yr. old sometimes grabs a hold of it when he is going in and out and has pulled it down a little bit, but it's easy to put right back up.

We get really bad mosquitoes in the summer and don't have a screen door. We have a security gate but no screens so any time the door was opened our house was flooded with mosquitoes. Our kids have been small enough that they can't open the door themselves so we don't have a lot of in and out. My husband and I keep it open for only as long as need to get in or out and make sure it is closed tight once everyone is through. We've used it for a couple years with great success. Now that our oldest is old enough to open the door on his own and the kids are big enough to spend hours in the yard playing, we've upgraded our door - I don't think this would hold up to all the ins and outs we have now. I also don't think it would have worked as well for us if we used the door frequently.

We bought this for our back sliding door to keep the bugs out. The dog ripped the screen within an hour of hanging it. It was too long for our door so we had to roll it up and jerry-rig it to install. The velcro didn't stay. The magnets didn't line up. Don't buy it. Save your money.

This screen works really well, we have a small door onto a terrace with metal sides so we were able to stick the velcro to the wood and the magnets attach to the metal frame. The kids go in and out often and it holds up well, magnets are strong enough. Really great product for such a reasonable price.

we use it for a balcony door so we can get fresh air in the apartment, and it was easy to set up, and great to be able to leave the door open on nice days. So far, no pests inside.

Not enough magnet closures. It doesn't snap shut after you walk through. You have to close it manually, which kind of defeats the purpose. Also, because we are using ours between the door and door jamb, if you bump the door at all, the bar at the top of the screen falls right down. Otherwise easy up and easy down. Helps keep flies out.

[@] sells this for half the price. But, the product is better in theory than practice depending on your house hold. We have a lot of foot traffic between human and k-9 and after a few times coming in/going out the top starts to come off and the magnets dont close back up as well. When this happens it becomes a HUGE tripping factor for the kiddos!!!

I am very happy with this product, I put it on my patio door, it was easy to install, my 3 year old daughter has no problem closing the curtains. Fulfills its function, keeps the bugs out of the house. The only thing is that I would have liked an extra hook'n loop anchors to put on my front door.

For not having any screen door, this works a lot better. But it should have a third magnetic closing (the top has a good size opening no matter how careful you close it) and the top keeps loosing and falling down.

Our door is 29 1/2". This 30" screen would not adjust to our door. The velcro on the sides should be stitched in horizontally to adjust properly. If this product does not fit properly it will not close. Also needs more that one big magnet in the middle of the door to close properly. Bottom was either too short or had excess screen laying at our feet, a tripping hazard. The product is built quite well with heavy duty screen and good stitching but the lack of adjustability was a deal breaker.

Bug Off Instant Screen

Please measure your door before ordering.

For Odd-Size Doors

An odd-size door will accept a screen up to 1" wider. For example, for a 29"W door, order the 30" screen. (Please note: if the size difference exceeds 1"W, the screen will not fit—i.e., a 30"W screen will not fit a 28"W door.)

You may also use a screen up to 1" smaller than a door. For example, a 36" screen will fit a 37" door. However, the hook 'n loop anchors will not grip the door jam as securely, so this is not recommended for high-traffic doors.

For French Doors and Double Doors

We have sizes to fit 4 ft., 5 ft, and 6 ft. French doors and double doors.

If you use only one door, we recommend a reversible screen, available in 60" and 72" widths. This will allow you to close both doors without removing the Bug Off screen.

You may also choose a smaller 30", 32", or 36" screen, mounting it between the doorjamb and the door that stays closed. In this event, you will need to remove the screen when you're ready to close both doors. However, it only takes a minute to take down the screen, roll it up, and store it away.

For Sliding Doors

In most cases, the door that slides open is half the width of the entire glass door area--so order a 30" screen for a 5 ft. (60") door, or a 36" screen for a 6 ft. (72") door. However, please measure to be sure.

Be sure to measure the height of the door as well as the width. The screen must clear the bottom track in order to open and close properly.

Many people use both the Bug Off screen and their sliding screen together. Bug Off can be installed in the track between the glass door and the sliding screen, and will not obstruct the operation of either one.
