This car seat is wonderful. It's sturdy and safe and can be used for quite some time. I own 2 of them. My son got his when he turned 4 and 2 years later, he is still using the harness mode. I just got one for my 2 year old daughter as well and she loves it too. The built in cupholders are a great feauture too. The seat sits more upright, so it's intended for toddler/preschool/young children. I used to have a problem with the seat cover tabs coming off, but I easily figured out why...you must make sure the cover is properly tucked in on the sides. I have no problems at all now. It is sturdy and made of great quality. I trust Britax over other brands.

I did ridiculous amounts of research on booster seats before buying this. My 3 1/2 year old son grew out of his convertible seats but I did not feel good about taking him out of a 5 pt harness yet. This seat is the BEST. As always, Britax makes seats smooth and easy to work and I know it is safe. It was easy to install and doesn't move a millimeter. My son is super comfortable in it, sleeps well, and no head slump at all. Just buy this one! It's worth the extra money and I found a great deal at One Step Ahead.

When our one-year-old was ready to take his four-year-old brother's convertible seats, I researched high and low for the perfect seats to replace them. I always resist the most marketed brand and instead compare value of features for the price. This is not a cheap seat by any means, but the features for the price can't be beat (and a coupon code available at the time of purchase made it the cheapest anywhere!). Rear-facing is the safest way to ride, but if your child is old enough to face forward but you still want them harnessed, this is the seat for you. The Frontier 85 is the tallest harnessed seat available, allowing a child with up to 20" seated shoulder height to remain harnessed before switching to booster mode. You don't have to rethread the harness to adjust it to the next position. The seat is lined with EPS. The LATCH connectors are the push-button style, and for seat belt installs, two belt paths are available to increase the liklihood of a successful installation in more cars. And when your child is ready for booster mode, the Frontier was a Best Bet by the IIHS for 2011.

OneStepAhead was fantastic to transact with for our Frontier 85 (ours was Rushmore, not Canyon). I inquiried about typical date of manufacture for the car seats they sell and they checked with the warehouse and provided me an answer the next business day. When I placed my order, the seat was on backorder and not expected to be available for two weeks. It was delivered a week after my purchase (over a week earlier than expected), box in great condition and with a recent date of manufacture (meaning I could get the full life out of the seat before it expires, which is nine years on this Britax seat). My only complaint is that OneStepAhead didn't carry my first choice in cover color (which was Maui Blue), but for the price, I am very happy with our purchase!

I never thought I would buy a Britrax because they are so expensive, but when this one went on sale - I snatched it up! So glad I did!! Just looking at it, you can tell you get what you pay for. The construction is amazing and price really is no object when it comes to our baby. My daughter LOVES the double cup holders!

Quick delivery. Delivered without any damage of product or box it was packaged in. Love the Britax carseats for their high safety ratings and comfortableness for my kids. Very easy to install. Both of my kids 8 months and 2 yrs and. 3 months enjoy and are happy in their britax carseats. We have had several other brands of carseats and have spent a lot of money trying to find quality, comfortableness for our children, and most of all safety and not bulkiness. My 5 year old is autistic and I needed to still have him in a 5 point harness where I knew he would be safe and would not try to slip out of the seatbelt. The great thing is that I can continue to use this until he reaches 100 lbs. even with the 5 point harness. The crotch strap (with protective cover) is out far enough for him to grow and not be uncomfortable. Best seat for my peace of mind.

Wonderful seat. We have had our share of researching and trying out. Britax is, by far, an excellent seat. It is not a seat that is quick to take in and out for transfers. However, this is a seat that will not have any play to it once tightened down. You can't beat the safety and security of this brand! We have 5 Britax all together; 2 Frontiers, 2 Boulevards, and 1 infant carrier (the infant carrier is second to none!). When our daughter is ready we will be purchasing the Frontier for her also. I love the newer style that has the cup holders molded into the seat. Our older son has holders that fold down. Much better style now! Another wonderful perk about this seat is that he can stay in it until he's ready to not use one at all. You can also use the vehicle seat belt, when it's time, instead of the 5 point harness. Overall GREAT SEAT!!

We LOVE this seat! Our babies have been in Britax since birth, so from the Marathon on up. Our oldest two (7 and almost 10) are presently in the Parkway SG. The new Frontier 85 is wonderful! We had Husky before and it was SO heavy and I worried that it didn't have any side impact protection for their heads as it was so wide. This seat keeps them in 5-point harness longer but converts to a height booster too, and our son (5) loves it; we'll be putting our newly adopted son in one as well! Cup holder is an improvement, too - deep enough that things don't spill. This seat is a winner!

would not fit into my car.
I liked the feature of five point harness up to 85 pounds.
I had to return the seats because safety is first and they were too big to fit into the car.

All Britax seats are safe and easy to install, which is great. I bought this seat for my 2 year old and he's a little bit too small to reach the cup holders. This seat is also much heavier than the Roundabout we were used to.

Great booster with 5pt harness to 85 pounds and 20 inch seat to shoulder height. Really solved our problems of what seat to get after our 4 year old outgrew his Britax Blvd seat. Installed easily with either latch or belts.

Bought this for my three year old so I could pass her convertible seat on to her little 1yr old brother. Like the fact it turns into a booster seat so this is the last seat she will ever need. She loves it & is very comfy. Cup holders are great & don't stick out or take up extra space.
