Loved this car seat! The Chaperone was very easy to use, and very durable. We got the seat and stroller as a baby shower gift from my husband's dad, and step mom. We got many compliments and comments on how great the seat and stroller looked, felt, and how easy it was to use from our family that would help us around with our daughter. We even bought an extra base for the seat for my mom to keep in her car. The bases are very easy to install in a car- might have to use noodles to help boost it up, but very easy indeed! I loved how durable this seat was in comparison to the other brands out there. My sister n law had 2 infant seats, a Chicco and a Graco- both flimsy plastic in comparison to this seat. She then upgraded to the safety 1st convertible shortly after we did the same, and it is very scary just how flimsy that seat is as well. We now upgraded to the Britax Boulevard 70 CS after our girl turned 10 months. I knew if we were ever in an accident, this seat would hold up, and protect our daughter. The only downside to this seat is that any baby over 20lbs is pushing it. It got tight, not to mention heavy when our girl hit around 18lbs. We are full believers in the Britax brand, and would not buy any other brand of car seat out there. Their quality speaks for themselves!
