I used these in my bathroom closet and in the babies' bedroom to keep them out of their closet. Literally in place within seconds of opening package and good enough deterrent to make them move on and stop trying to open closet.

We had a bi-fold door built in a doorway in our two separate two cats from fighting and to give them their own equal half of the house. This product is PERFECT! We like it because of the low visibility and ability to easily move from either side. Our next order is on the way.

Not impressed at all still was too much space even w/insert snap in plastic piece. Could still open stores a little stick finger in and close on it. If it was thinker to fit all size doors thinner & thick then it would be good. Know someone who has them was recommended by them & theirs work good. Not happy about the return policy either, cost more to ship back after already paying for shipping not worth the $ to return. They should cover one shipment back if customer is not happy, like most other places. Think that shows that a lot if people must not be happy w/ their products Will not buy from here again Not the only thing I bought that I was not happy with.

One of our cats loves to prowl in the closets, which have folding doors. She has figured out how to pull them open! These door locks have foiled her attempts to get in and make huge messes. Yay!

Works perfect, and even being short I can reach these and pull them over with no problem. Has kept my 1 year old out of bifold doors! Woo! Thanks for these! AND they are clear so people don't even see them in use!

This really keeps bi-fold doors closed, and it's easy to use. The only caveat is that the operating "rod" is a seperate piece, and might be easily lost.

It seems like a wonderful idea, but it didn't work that great for us:( I mean it stops easy access to the closet, so the child stays away from it, but i wouldn't trust it if it came to letting the child in the room by himself(to nap there- for example). While we're there together & he just plays in his room-he's almost 2 yrs old-i'm ok with it.So, it was worth the money, that's for sure.

Got this for my pantry door since my twins loved going in & pulling everything out! Moving food to higher shelves was of no use since they are excellent climbers. This item is perfect! Problem solved. Easy to use. Just wished I bought it sooner.... will definitely be ordering more for my hall/linen closet... Highly recommend.

Love it....but must buy with handle. More expensive...but worth it. I use this to keep my 5 yr old daughter out of her closet. Had to lock up her clothes so she would stop changing her outfits 6 times a day. Less laundry. Also like it for our food pantry...kids can't get snacks whenever they want. Must buy!!!

Most have purchased this item to prevent a child from accessing an area that they didn't want them in. For me I bought it to prevent a pet from accessing a room. I have a bi-fold door to an upstairs room that I use to store crafts and family momentos and so it is off limits to my cats. Recently, they figured out how to open the bi-fold door. I tried blocking it with a doorstop, a brick, a cement statue and nothing worked. I always came home to find the door open. I had previously tried a different bi-fold door lock but it didn't fit properly. This lock fit my bi-fold door perfectly since it allowed for a larger width door. It slides easily over the top of the door so that I can access the room frequently with no problems. This lock is a little pricey but it was worth every penny. I can now keep not only my cats out of the room but it also keeps my niece from wandering upstairs too when she visits.

Great product. Keeps my daughter away from things she should not be getting into. Easy to install. A little more expensive than I think I should be.
