Help baby learn the art of self-feeding! Using utensils is tricky, but this flexible fork and spoon help beginners find their mouths. Adjust the angles to suit baby's grip; then, as her aim improves, gradually straighten the handles. Dishwasher-safe.

Comments about Boon Benders Adaptable Utensils:

These are okay. The fork bends as expected but the spoon barely bends at all. Also, the fork doesn't spear things very easily. Probably wouldn't buy again.

Comments about Boon Benders Adaptable Utensils:

My daughter is in the stage where she wants to play and use the spoon herself. I give her the bender's and tilt the tip to fit the hand that she uses and she does pretty good at using it. The spoon is not too wide so she can get it into her little mouth pretty good. It could be smaller but then she wouldn't get much on it if it were. Only issue we have is she hasn't decided which hand she is most comfortable with so she switches all the time. Means I have to bend it before it gets to the bowl.

Comments about Boon Benders Adaptable Utensils:

this is a good beginner spoon for older infants and young toddlers. It is easy to use and very helpful, but the end of the spoon and fork needs to be a little longer and deeper, the heads of the utensils are a little small. they are designed for small, older infant mouths so they may be a bit small for toddlers.

Comments about Boon Benders Adaptable Utensils:

I loved this idea and was really looking forward to having my son(3) who is autistic try these out. They are so shallow that he can't get much on there. It works for pudding and icecream but for mac and cheese he might get two noddles on the fork at most.I'm not too upset since they will be used with my infant daughter but for the purpose of teaching self feeding I feel they should have made them deeper.

Comments about Boon Benders Adaptable Utensils:

Great idea! My son isn't a year yet so he can't really feed himself now but I really enjoy helping him try. He still turns the spoon upside-down once it's in his mouth so it doesn't matter at this point which way I try and aim it. He is able to grip these really well though since they have a thicker handle. I'm excited to be able to use them and don't think I will have any complaints.

I purchased this set for my daughter. We weren't sure which hand was her dominant, so it was great to be able to change the utensils. Having the bent spoon makes it so much easier for beginningers to try and make it to their mouth. Great product!!

Comments about Boon Benders Adaptable Utensils:

I had silver spoon and fork shaped with the bend in them with mother of pearl handles for my children and I can not find them. They were the best thing for them because this is the way children hold their utensils when they are eating and it helps them to learn to feed themselves and keep food on the utensils.

This product didnt work for us. My daughter found the bendable silverware to be much more difficult to use than the traditional children's slverware. She has difficulty due to the small size of them and want able to ever get any food using them. Great idea, but didnt work for us.

These perform exactly as advertised and do make self-feeding easier for our baby. But at [$] plus s&h and the propensity for small baby untensils to get lost, i don't think we'll buy additional ones. But if money isn't a huge concern, these are great.

My grandson has Autism and was having trouble keeping the food on
the regular spoons. He would try to turn the spoons upside down and
the food would fall off. It is taking a little practice but it seems like these
utensils are helping him get more food in his mouth without using his
                            hands.

With other spoons I've used, I'm likely to get food split when feeding the baby. With this spoon, the portion is just right and definitely less mess.

Plus, my baby likes gripping the spoon herself.
