The best of both worlds! These girl's ballet slippers offer all the magic of sparkly ballerina slippers, plus the functionality of well-made, solid-sole shoes! Lace up the satin ribbons, or remove them. A great addition to her dress-up trunk (but she'll beg to wear them everyday!). Imported. See Product Details

Not well made

About Me First Time Parent
The ribbons that are suppose to wrap up around the leg like a ballet slipper is flimsy and never stayed up. After only a few moments of walking, the ribbons all gathered around her ankles. Also the elastic strap that comes across the shoe was extremely tight. She had to wear the shoes without the ribbons and with the elastic strap tucked inside the shoe.
These did not fit my preschooler

About Me Parent Of Two Or More Children
I measured my daughters foot according to the size chart and the smallest size didn't even come close to fitting my daughter. I guess I don't understand the way girls shoes are sized, but if you are looking to get these for your 3-5 year old you should know they most likely will not fit.
fun shoes

These were super cute shoes and my daughter loves them. She wears a size 10. The small size says its 11/12, but they were huge.
Extremely slippery sole and very unsafe

I would NOT recommend these shoes at all. My daughter wore these several times, and every time she slipped and fell while simply walking. I had hoped to rough up the soles in order to provide some traction but even with some wear, it did not improve. I agree with others reviews also that the fit is very narrow and tight on the strap, even for a very narrow foot.Save your money and buy some similar shoes at [...]. I returned them [...]

Pretty as a Princess...or Ballerina
By db

These are beautiful shoes. Will make any little girl feel like a ballerina. Used them as part of a Halloween costume, not really princess shoes, but they were loved nonetheless. The only draw back I can see is that the glitter on the surface is a bit like sand paper and catches on almost any type of fabric.
An OK Costume Shoe with Pros and Cons
By Karen
from Indiana
Pros:--looks like a ballet slipper so goes well with ballerina costume--is a light pink with sparkles all over--can wear the shoe outside without it falling a apart and it protects feet from street objects and cold better than real ballet slippersCons:--ballet ribbon doesn't look quite right with these shoes and can be hard to keep on legs (we ended up skipping taking them out). It would have been better that they just didn't include the ribbon and took the loop off the back of the shoe. --is difficult to clean due to material used --can be difficult for child to put on by themselves (the strap that runs across the foot is too short/tight and hard to slip the foot under without assistance) --the bottom is very slick, so kids have to be very careful walking; it is not practical beyond costume purposes (I had hoped my kids could wear these shoes for dressy occasions also)--the fit of the shoe is difficult, even when following the guideline included on the website...I think this is because the shoe covers 2 sizes rather than just 1 (size 11-12, 13-1, 2-3, etc). One of my daughters normally wears a 10.5, but based on the size chart I needed to order a size up...11-12; when we got it, it fit well w/ room to grown. My other daughter normally wears a size 1. I followed the guide which based on her foot length said the 13-1 would be too small, so I ordered the 2-3. But, when we got those, they looked like clown shoes on her. I had to order the 13-1, which when we got it in fit just fine. [...]Overall, the shoe worked for my daughters costumes, but it would have been better if the fit was more reliable and the shoe had a better sole.
Always Read Review

I wish I had read the review before purchasing these shoes! They are very stiff and large for the sizes too! Now I have to rush to get them back into the mail and hope I can get my money back on them!!
Cute, but uncomfortable
By Patra

These shoes are very pretty and fairly priced. However, they are EXTREMELY narrow and difficult to get on/off. My daughter has an averaged sized foot, and we can barely get them on. I bought them for her to wear with a halloween costume and she won't be able to wear them trick or treating-they hurt her feet too badly to wear for any length of time.
