Ilike this costume, I wanted my two sons to dress up as bats and got this for my toddler. We live in CO and I had to put long johns underneath because the fabric was thin, but not as bad as some halloween costumes that I've seen. As a note, I bought the infant bat costume, and the ears were the same size as the toddlers costume and did NOT work.

This costume is cute and my son loved it once I CUT off the little feetie things because they hit his CALF instead of being anywehre near his feet! NOt well designed for an average american child at all. I put leggings on him under it and then it worked fine. But beware of the fit.

I loved the bats, but was disappointed that my daughter - who is a 3T - couldn't fit in her 3T-4T costume at all; it was so small. Also, the button on hers came off before I even had it out of the box. My son's bat romper barely fit at 2T (and he's 18 months). I ended up cutting off the foot covers on my daughter's costume and using hem tape. It looked weird, but it was better than nothing.

Still, my children looked adorable all together in their bat costumes. I'm glad I ordered from One Step Ahead; the customer service was phenomenal. The romper with the broken button was replaced immediately and in time, and the representative I spoke to was extremely friendly and easy to work with.

Large size was to fit 2-4 year old. My 3 year old average size son did not fit into this costume. The legs were way too short, the neck area was way too big, and the hat was so big that we tied it onto a baseball cap so it would stay on his head. I was very disappointed with the fit, luckly my son didn't care. He was just happy to be a bat.

Bought this for my shortish 3 yr. old (size 2-4). It was way too short for him. But he loved it nonetheless. And it was one of the few bat costumes I could find anywhere that wasn't more like a vampire.

My daughter is 3 so I bought the size listed for 2-4 yrs. It is sooo short! The shoulder to crotch area is tight and it needs to be about 5 inches longer to reach her feet! I don't think it would have fit her at the age of 2. Otherwise it's cute, but...very disappointing. (She's thin and about 39 inches tall.)

I checked my son's size with the measurement guideline and based on his height and weight, the costume should've fit him. It is way too short on him and tight around his neck. I would not suggest this costume based on the measurement suggestions.

My son wears a 2T/3T. I ordered the Large which was supposed to be a size 2/4. It was SO small. The feet almost came up to his knees and the croch was really tight. The little bat hat was HUGE! I was very dissapointed beacuse my son fell in love with this costume in the magazine but as soon as I put it on him he wanted to take it off because it was so tight! :(
