We received a bath tub at our baby shower. The bath tub was awkward to use because our son was a major squirmer. I ended up just bathing with him and my husband would come in to dry him so I could get out. It just seemed less painful on my back and I could hold him while he learned to play in the water.
This bath seat was a real life-saver! Of course, he had to learn to sit up by himself, but he started doing that at 5 months. The temp gauge confirms the water is perfect and it's just the right seat height that there isn't too much water...just enough to reach and play with. He is now 8 1/2 months and we bathe daily (sometimes more depending on what food he decides looks best on him...lol). I can let him play in the water and then he'll want a nap after. This bath seat has accomplished everything I was expecting. I highly recommend it!

This is perfect and has great suction. The only downside: the thermometer is in the back, so it is nearly impossible to see once you've suctioned it to the tub. I'm surprised they made it like that. I do think it was a bit overpriced too. I actually use it to help my baby sit up to play with his brother on the floor- of course, I'm within arms reach.

This bath seat is amazing! I highly recommend this seat to anyone who has a baby that can sit up unassisted, not necessarily without falling. My daughter is 5 months and she loves the seat. It also allows her to take baths with her brother which he loves! I did a TON of research when looking for a new bath tub- this did not disappoint!!

I bought this for my 5 mo grandson. He was getting too big to bath in the sink. He loves bath time. This is so great. I put him in, sit next to the tub and we both enjoy bath time. I bought another one for my niece's baby shower. This was something she didn't know she would need and was not on her registry. She was very pleased to receive.

This seat works great for us. Our 8 month old was too big and active for the sink. In addition, he has eczema and requires lots of creams. All those applications of creams made him extra slippery. When we tried putting him in the tub while holding him, he was slipping all over the place -- making it hard to even bath him because I need two hands to keep him from slipping. Once we got the seat he was able to sit and play on his own. Leaving me with two hands to bath him and play along side. I can even put his brother in with him. The seat sticks wonderfully to tub so it doesn't move all around nor do I have to keep re-sticking it down. Great product!

This product is great for when your baby is able to sit up but still needs occasional assistance. I feel so much safer using this rather than trying to steady my son and bathe him at the same time. The suction cups are strong but easy to move. I even had him in our whirlpool tub and it stayed in place perfectly. I feel safe and he has so much fun splashing and playing. He was 7 months old when we purchased it and has room to grow while at the same time fits great in it now. I highly recommend this product!

A little pricey
Suctions aren't 100% (but there is a part of me that likes that because no parent should be too comfortable with any thing involving water and babies. They do not just pop up or come off. It's with pressure or pushing from my two toddlers or lots of activity from the baby

I bought this for my 4 1/2 month old. I wanted to transition him out of his baby bath tub to the real tub. I came across this product and researched it, like I do every other object I purchase for my son. I found that everyone who purchased this product really enjoyed it. I would say that if your baby can hold their head up by and they're very strong at it, then this is the right thing for them. I love that it has a thermometer in the back of it to show you if the water is too hot or too cold for baby. Also, the blue texture is more like grippies, they help the baby not fall through. I wish that they'd make this more like the bumbo, so my son doesn't crush his man business when he slouches. But overall, I'd highly recommend this!

Bought this for my 10 month old grandson. He is too big for the kitchen sink and loves to make a mess splashing. It's great because he can sit independently in the bath tub and leaves you with two hands free to wash him up and play. But remember! NEVER LEAVE YOUR BABY UNATTENDED NEAR ANY WATER!
