My nanny bought this for my twin girls when they turned one. They are now 3yrs old. It is sturdy and they love to eat snacks at the diner. I did not introduce some of the utinsils and dishes until they were ready and I screwed the oven so it would not open because they kept standing on it!! but now they play well and actually learned to walk by holding on to the kitchen and walking around it! So cute Highly recommended especially for multiples because you have two of everything and this is compact has table and kitchen in one! YES YES is all I have to say if you are asking if you should get it :-)

My two year old really likes this diner! He has had it for a month and it still gets daily play. It is sized perfectly for him.

I LOVE this diner! I have a huge love for all things retro 1950's, so I just had to get this for my daughter. She was one at the time, but is 3 now, with a one year old little sister. They both love it, use it every day, and love to serve each other, have dance time with the super cute tunes on the jukebox (sounds like buddy holly, Elvis, and Jerry lee Lewis knock offs. The jukebox is loud enough to really boogie :) I definitely recommend this one!!! My nephews love it too!!!

My 22 month old son just loves his new diner. We've had it for about three weeks and he plays with it every single day. He loves the realistic sounds it makes and he has really started engaging in more imaginative play since he got it. His favorite part is the juke box - he walks around the house with it dancing to the music. We've been adding empty spice jars, wooden spoons, bowls and other stuff from our kitchen, and he is learning how to cook, make coffee, flip a burger, etc... Its also great for multiple kids of different ages - his playmates have ranged in age from 18 months to 7 years. Its a very sturdy toy - he has actually stood up on the open oven door and it was able to hold his weight. The only downside was that certain parts of the diner were really hard to snap together. We had to actually sit on them to get them to pop in place. But despite that, I would buy this toy again in a second!

Bought this for my 15 month old. A lot of the small pieces I put away for when he's older. My son loves it and sits on the booth side a lot. At this age his attention span is short but he still goes to it a lot. It's sturdy- he opens the oven door and actually stands on it and it's held up. It's a very cute product and a great male alternative to a 'pink kitchen'. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

We bought this for our son for his first birthday and, 10 months later, it still gets daily use. He has learned a number of skills (e.g., opening doors) and words (e.g., cup, spoon) from playing with his diner. The seating side is great because he can color there or force his parents to be patrons at his diner. Because all of the food is diner food and thus not too healthy, I bought a set of peelable and sliceable fruits/vegetables to add to what came with the diner.

All in all, I can't say enough positive things about this toy. Worth every penny and then some!

My 19 month old son received this for Christmas and it has been quite the hit of the house! It's different than the standard kitchen, which makes it fun for him because other kids' kitchens are "new" and this is "new" to his little friends. I like that there is a kitchen side and a table/bench side. It's interactive in that: the little juke box plays fun songs, there is a bell to ding when the "order is up," the coffee pot makes fun percolating sounds, and the frying pan sizzles. Another bonus is that it comes with all the food and silverware items that you need, so you don't have to go out and buy pretend food unless you want to. This toy is used everyday and doesn't take up too much space in the house, but is still a good size for kids to grow into.
