We ordered the gate and received it very quickly (with just the standard shipping). It was very easy to install and very sturdy. We are using it infront of our pellett stove. In fact we decided instead of ordering a 2 panel extension or ordering another gate for other areas of the house we are going to order another gate so we can use the other panels in other rooms of the house. It will be great to use as a play yard once the fireplace is no longer running.

We have a pellet stove insert in our fireplace. We have a 3 year old and a 6 month old. The gate is easy to install. It is allso to detach and re-attach the front piece for easy cleaning of the stove. The stove is not flush with the fireplace so we needed to be sure the gate allows enough space so that a tiny are can't reach trhought the slats and touch the hot stove. This does.

Very pleased with the sturdy construction. I don't think she could ever knock this thing down. The extension is a must to have enough room for baby to move around a bit. I can even get inside it with her to help her learn to enjoy the space more. We hope to get years of use out of this, will probably end up ordering yet another extention to make it even more roomy so we can add larger types of toys as she grows.

I recommend the metal one, it is sturdy and firm and safe on any floors, all panels are very secure, no small pieces to worry about. The contrary things are: too heavy, too expensive, too small- I had to buy 3 extensions for my 2 year old son to have enough room. Overall, this is a great product.

Very easy to set up. Mounted to wall within 20 minutes. Gate is easy to use. Panels angle easily for preferred adjustment. We use ours as a barrier to block off restricted areas. Very sturdy, stable, heavy duty. We chose the white metal one. The gate is awesomely easy to use and just what was needed. We have the plastic Superyard and use that for road trips only now. This 3 in 1 Superyard is taller and sturdier than the plastic model. This is a MUST HAVE. You can remove the panels for shrinking its size or for creating mini gates for smaller areas. This is the most versatile superyard ever! You can use it as a BIG play pen or, as we use it, a barrier.

We bought two of these, linked them together, added one extension, and secured each end to the wall to have a nice big rectangular play area. They are sturdy and handsome for indoor use and we will have many years of safe play for our son. Keeps our dog out of that area too so it stays cleaner longer. Awesome !

We used this gate for a metal spiral staircase! We just encircled the base of the stairs with this gate, and it is a perfect solution! Much easier than buying all sorts of attachments and drilling all kinds of holes in our metal staircase. Also, as far as baby gates go, this one, out of all the choices we saw, is the most attractive and does not scream 'baby equipment'. We are very happy with our gate.

i am using it to block off half of the living room. love it cause it is long. However, the gate does not shut on its own, u must discipline yourself on shutting it.

using this I could have a great safe area for my twin girls. I have more then two together (two and 3 extensions) and in this way I have a huge play yard for my twins and a great safe are when I need.
The quality is great and the wood one matches with my spanish style house very well.

We use this as a safeguard around our woodstove. My son can still pull himself up on it and it's secure and eventhough it's metal, it doesn't get hot but keeps him from touching the stove. Well worth the money spend for piece of mind and a warm house this winter

I was looking for a playpen that looked just like this. The product is smaller than what I expected and is very expensive. I had to order the extra panels to get some space. My 6 month old daughter enjoys being inside this play pen. During the day she plays and naps in it. I had to use padding to the floor. I wish it came with floor padding. She was 4 months when I ordered this product; it took a few weeks for her to get used to it. Now she is very comfortable being in there by herself. I have set this up in the family room next to the kitchen. I can still keep an eye on her while cooking. It's a great product.

I avoid plastic toys and wanted an alternative to the ugly plastic play yards. This was more expensive, but worth the price. It took us a little while to figure out how it worked, but once we figured it out it is easy. It looks great. I use it as a play area for my older baby while I shower etc. But it is also a great barrier to our wood stove. It is something that I don't mind having up even when I need the house to look "adult". The only downside so far is it is smaller than the plastic play yard. So, we got the extension. [...]We are very happy with this product.
