the chair is wonderful. It matches my table perfectly. I love how we will be able to use it for years...grows with the child.

The only thing I didn't like about it is the confusing straps. It is like a harness...goes over the sholders and around the child. Seems a bit much for a highchair.

I ordered this chair for my 7-month-old daughter. I love how the chair (without the tray) fits up to the table and she can sit with us. I ordered the tray but am returning it, because I haven't found the need to even take it out of the box yet.

My daughter seems to enjoy using the chair. The belt holds her securely but she can move around quite a bit, so I would not be comfortable using this if she was younger/smaller than she is.

I have a small home and space is at a premium, so I think this works much better than a traditional high chair. Also, I put felt pads under the legs so it's really easy to move back and forth (our flooring guy recommends that for all the furniture, anyway).

I know some have complained about how hard it is to get their child into the seat, but for us it's not too bad. It is a lot easier than putting her in the Jumperoo, at least!

We bought this for my 3 year old when he was 1 1/2 and have used it every day since and still use it. Now that my second son is 15 months, we are buying another one for him. It is great to promote table time instead of keeping the child away with a tray. The wood matches out table perfectly. The only problem we have is, what to do with the extra chair that we have taken away.

I thought this seat would be a good alternative to a more expensive version of the chair. I wish I had spent the money to get a quality piece of furniture. The plastic seat stained easily and the edges were sharp. It was nearly impossible to clean around the strap that goes between the legs. When the seat was in the top position there is not enough room to get legs in under the bar so my daughter had to sit a little low for a while. The chair also came apart at the top where the two legs join. My daughter is only 20 lbs so it wasn't under a lot of stress. I received a new chair but the same thing happened again. [...]

we got this product for our infant/toddler. The tray is a pain to put in and out and the seat cushion does not last long, the buckles are difficult to clip on as you have a fixed tray. And keeping the chair clean is not the easiest. It looks nice. That is the main pro. Overall, we would not buy this again had we known the shortcomings of the design.

We bought this chair for our 4-year-old who had grown out of her baby highchair but wasn't tall enough for a normal chair. She loves it, and we love how it takes up as much room as a normal dining chair and looks stylish. However, I have no idea how it works for a baby/infant with the security bar as I caanot imagine a baby skinny enough to fit... and my children are very skinny! Perfect for older kids though. My parents have the same chair at their house for our visits we loved it so much!

I needed a chair for my toddler that was high enough for her to eat up at the table with us and that she could climb into by herself. She had been climbing up onto the table to get into her old baby highchair and then standing up in it for us to lift her down - accident waiting to happen! This EuroChair is PERFECT for what we needed. She gets in and out safely by herself, we just scoot her closer to eat, and it doesn't tip backward if she pushes back against the table to get down. I ordered extra seat cushions (inexpensive) so that the chair will have long life! For assembly I needed a new screw for one part, and it was sent promptly free of charge. Otherwise, assembly was fine. This chair also holds my weight (yikes), so it's strong, but toddler tells me to get out of her chair when she catches me sitting in it.

this chair is great. Our daughter sits comfortably in it for up to an hour during meal preparation and serving and 'hangs out' with no problem. The harness is very safe, so no worries if I'm away at the stove. Multiple levels for food catching is great - the tray, the wide seat and the wide foot rest below. All easy to clean. (order the tray, too). Only con is the veneer chipped a bit in shipping.

My only real complaint with the chair is that it doesn't encourage a wiggly toddler to sit in a reasonable way. There's a large space between the back rest and the back edge of the seat and also the seat is quite wide. So my daughter is CONSTANTLY putting her feet up beside her or turning completely around in the chair. Obviously, the real problem lies with her, not the chair, but it's something to keep in mind if you think all that wiggling would drive you crazy.
We use this as a toddler chair--with no strap or bar. I don't know how those parts would work; they look a little cumbersome. This chair is very stable and sturdy. It won't tip. The laminate was splitting on one of the pieces, but the customer service for the company was great. A replacement piece arrived 3 days after I ordered it. The cushion, as everyone has already mentioned, is not great. But we haven't had a problem with it, after about a month of use. I'd rather it not be there, and maybe I'll eventually take it off and remove the velcro strips from the chair.

We purchased two chairs and trays for use at home with twin infants. The chairs are attractive and were not difficult to assemble. I like the large and convenient footrest. Within a month, the seat cushion ripped along the seam, but this is a minor flaw compared with the terrible design of the tray attachment. The tray attaches to the back of the chair with two large knobs and metal screws; the knobs must be fitted through the back of the chair and this process requires two hands and several minutes of the adult's time. When compared with the one-handed, easy-release mechanism of other high chair trays at nearly all price points, the Euro II highchair tray's design is very inconvenient. For now we keep the tray attached at all times, but as our children (age 10 months at present) grow, we will have to waste time attaching and detaching the tray.

I couldn't believe how hard it was to get my poor child in and out of this chair. It's completely non adjustable. So we had to wait and use it only as a toddler chair and buy a new high chair.

I read a lot of the reviews for this chair before I bought it and was wondering if it would be as good as I thought. It turns out it is the PERFECT chair for my Toddler. I put it together myself in minutes, the chair pushes up to the table so my toddler feels like she is a part of the family, it's easy to clean and the seat cushion hasn't torn yet (like some reviews claimed) after a couple months of use.

First, I am fortunate enough to be a 2nd hand recipient of this item. I was given 2 of these from a friend of mine with older kids. So, mine are quite a few years old. With that said, I would absolutely 100% buy these new - even though they are expensive. I have a 3 1/2 year old with ants in his pants when eating and a 20 month old (still in a highchair, not using this chair yet). My 3 1/2 year old, while sitting at our stylish world market table on a cooshie booster (love those, too), would struggle to get up and down constantly (got to pee, my toes itch, I want a drink....) I constantly lifted him up and down. He attempted to scoot the seat back by himself, but the the world market chairs are heavy, and honestly, a bit top heavy, and I feared him toppling over. Until... I received these chairs. My son sits still in it. If he leans over to reach his cup, he doesn't tilt. His feet touch the bottom step so he's more comfortable and STAYS at the table! Whoa! He also can scoot it back by himself to get out. The 2nd one, incidentally, is being used at our piano until child # 2 grows into it (which really translates into - I will buy a 3rd one). My husband was NOT thrilled about the chair - it's the natural color - doesn't match our existing furniture at all, but he is a believer now. I will sand it and stain it to match our furniture. Sorry for the novel, but I would, hands down, buy these. And will when I need a 3rd one, maybe a 4th one.

We love that our two year old can safely climb in and out of the chair herself, and it's high enough that she's right at the level of the kitchen table. It also looks nice with our table, unlike the bulky high chair we used to use. It was easy to put together, and it's very sturdy.
