I bought this for my son at age 3 1/2 because he was beginning to complain of neck pain in the mornings. I attributed his complaint to the pillow he was using, and since he was born with severe torticollis, I wanted to remedy the problem immediately. It took him a few days to warm up to the new pillow, but now he requests it to sleep with at night and hasn't complained of any more neck pain. I wish the pillow was more of a "standard" size but with the thickness of the toddler pillow because my son tosses and turns a lot and often ends up off the pillow. Still, I am happy with my purchase.

I got this for my 3 yo son for his naps at preschool. The small size is just right for those little cots but it probably would be too small to be used in a twin size/kids bed. The softness/thickness of pillow is just fine. I also got the pillow cover to go along with this. I recommend this!

I think it's a good starter pillow for an older toddler. We got this and the bedding to go with the travel bed as an incentive for our daughter to use the bed for the first time. [...] she slept well on the bed, I like the pillow because the bed is ribbed and doesn't seem to support a child's head as well as a flat mattress.
