I got this for my daughter (2 1/2) for when we traveled, thinking she would be more comfortable in this bed than crammed into a pack n play. (she was no longer in a crib) She went to sleep well in the bed, but throughout the night kept rolling out of it onto the floor. So unfortunately, it did not work well for us, the sides were not high enough to keep her from rolling out constantly. We have not used it again since....

I purchased 2 of them for my twins at age 2, now they are 5 years old, and still using them whenever we travel. Last trip was overseas, and they used them for straight 2 weeks. The beds survived the multiple airline connections, customs, amazing no scratch on any of the bags.
Higly recommend them for travel, especially in hotel rooms, where the twin beds are small and high.

We used this for a weekend trip away. My 3 year old son is a tosser and turner and cannot sleep in a bed that is as far off the ground as a hotel room bed, since he is in a toddler bed at home. He was really happy about having his own bed, loved that it was sized for him. He is a tall 3 year old, so the Pack and Play size was just not working. This is a good alternative, and he will use it for a week long trip later this summer. Overall, a good choice for traveling with a fairly non-fussy kid.

I bought this for traveling with my 18-month-old daughter. It worked like a charm! It does have a rather thin mattress, so the softer surface you can place it on (carpet, a blanket, etc.) the softer it will be for your child, but since she still sleeps on a pretty firm infant mattress at home, it was fine for her, and she had no trouble falling asleep. The only worry I had was that she could get out of it easily and may roll out during the night, but the sides were sturdy enough to hold her in while she was sleeping. It has a big surface for sleeping on (as big as her crib) but it rolls up as small as a collapsed play yard, and it's incredibly light. I had no trouble carrying it at all. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase, and I would recommend it to a friend.

We bought this travel trundle with idea to take to hotel and when we visit relatives. The product is too bulky and the mattress is covered with plastic material. Our son moves a lot during the night so this bed is extremely noisy. The seams are extremely week and some have started to come undone. Although this is a great idea is not worth the money.

Great for our cruise with our one year old (who is still not walking and not ready for a bed). The caution on the bed does say not to use with young children (under 3 I think). I would recommend you examine the product and decide for yourself.

my 2 1/2 son loved it ! We bought it for camping. It gave him his "spot". But the sides did not hold him in once he fell asleep. That is the only con. I put pillows on both sides so he didn't fall off the pad. The 1 1/2 inch pad is great when sleeping on the ground. The bed packed up light enough that my son got to carry it by himself and a little bigger than a regular sleeping bag. Crib sheets fit the pad, so I had extra sheets in case he had an accidents at night ( a Sleeping bag would have been a disaster) .

We took it on a stay with friends for our just-2-year-old. He was so excited to stay on a real bed instead of a pack-n-play. To our delight, he slept comfortably and stayed (mainly) in the bed. Even though he rolled out of it onto the floor a couple of times, he did not wake up. We're planning to get a second one for our 3.5 year-old.

We have used this travel bed with all four of our children, and just now, after 7 years of use, is the mattress beginning to show wear-and-tear. We have used this for sleep-overs as well as travelling cross-country, and all of our children have had restful nights on it. That said, the boundaries are soft and if your child is a very active sleeper, it is likely that he or she will move off of the bed onto the floor. We solved that problem by resting a pillow on the floor next to the travel bed.

I loved this bed for traveling with my son. After he was too big for a "play-pen" to sleep in, this was a great next step. I made pillowcase type sheets of his favorite character, and we took this on planes, trains, and cars. It felt better to put this on the dirty floor in a hotel than a sleeping bag (he could roll around and stay in the clean part). Plus I could wash the sheets. We used this until he was 7 yrs old.

I carefully read all the reviews of this bed (including all the negative ones) before purchasing this item. Since the bed was on sale I jumped at the chance to try it out, and I'm not disappointed.

I wanted a simple, easy to set-up, non-inflatable travel bed for my 2-1/2 year old son that we will be able to use for several more years. The mattress in my son's crib is quite firm, so he won't have any problems with the thin mattress included with the Travel n' Trundle. It's also easy to make the bed a bit more comfortable by placing it on a carpet, or other padded surface.

I love that the bed can be easily rolled up into it's own light-weight travel bag, and it also comes with an adorable polka-dot sheet.

This is a great, simple bed, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I would not hesitate to recommend this bed to a friend, as long as they understand that it is a very firm bed, and that the side rails will not prevent a child from rolling out of the bed onto the floor (which I'm not really concerned about).

I was so disappointed in this travel bed. It is super thin and you can feel the floor. The velcroed corners are flimsy. My son would spin the pad out from the frame and end up across the room. In addition, it does not roll up compactly. It is very bulky because of the foam that attempts to hold the side walls up do not roll very small. We bought another company's toddler inflatable bed and are much happier with it.

I bought this to go to California. We were going to be traveling a lot and not staying in a hotel 2 nights in a row. My son was under 2 years old. In the past, I would just use the cribs at the hotels and he would be up all night. We set this up between the 2 queen beds in the room and he slept ALL night. Now I use it at the Grandparents' houses and when he was sick, I just put it next to my bed. It is very light to carry and I love the case. It is a thin mattress, but I knew that when I bought it. I figured it was just like the sleeping bag I used growing up and my daughter uses now (when we travel). I wish it would roll up a little smaller, but it isn't bad because it is so light.
