I like this gate a lot! We created a play pen for the corner area of our family room for our now-9-month-old baby. The 2-way swinging gate is easy to use. The product is nice and sturdy and looks very nice once it is set up. The downside was the really confusing install instructions. The gate is extremely tricky to unfold ind configure until you get the hang of it. The upside to this is that it means the angles in you create in the gate are really sturdy once you get them set ito the configuration you want.

We had a stair case that opened up at the bottom and this gate is an awesome solution. Install was quick and easy. I noticed it wobbles a bit too much. I had to buy an extension, so it covers a good bit of free standing area. It is solid on the hard flooring but not on the carpet. Had I pressed down hard on the carpet before marking the drill holes it wouldn't wobble as much. My strong baby can get this thing rocking but so far it has held. My 4 year old has a bit of trouble opening the gate and is often "tempted" to climb over which would surely pull the gate wall mounts from the wall. My wife cannot open the gate with one hand, which is a necessity with a baby. But, overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.

We have an open floor plan and the 2nd floor landing was an odd shape to figure out how to use a gate. After we purchased this we realized we could do pretty much anything with that space. I highly recommend this item for "odd" locations and spaces you're not sure if you can close off.

The only gate we could find for our double doorway from our living room into our dining room. It works very well. I wish it came in other colors than white, but it could be worse I guess! I do wish that the gate was self closing. You do have to squeeze the latch and match it up pretty perfectly to get it to lock. A great thing is that it's made so that my son can't pinch himself on any hinges. He likes to stand and play by opening and shutting the gate and it's actually provided hours of entertainment on it's own!

We purchased this gate to install at the bottom of our staircase as typical compression-style gates were not suited. The gate was relatively easy to install and is sturdy enough to take the abuse of our one-year-old who is often at the bottom of the stairs and wants to meet Mom or Dad upstairs. I would rate 5 stars, but the upper mounting bracket is not adjustable.

I ordered this gate to block off a large opening (69 inches)from my kitchen into my living room. I had a wooden hand-me-down gate that was long enough but very chintzy. This gate is sturdy. It seems well-made compared to my stair gates as well. I like that it rests on the floor because that makes it more stable. It also has adjustable mounting brackets. They can be slid above any trim that might be in the way.The door is easy to open with one hand but still seems like it would be difficult for a young child to open. I installed it myself and found it easy (pictures are in the back of the instruction manual). One thing that could be a problem for some people is that you cannot shorten the pieces. The length is adjustable by bending each piece on a hinge, so the gate may have to stick out a little in a half circle.

I am using this gate for the purpose of keeping my 2 dogs in the kitchen and away from the living area. It has also been helpful to keep my crawler baby from inside the area.

We have an odd space that we needed to be contained so in that respect this is the gate. My issue with the gate is that it is not sturdy and I worry about Baby pulling at it. Also the opening is not wide enough. There have many times when I ripped my shirt or jacket trying to walk through with baby. Also the opening handle broke within a few days. My husband had to install a plastic bracket to keep closed. We were not happy. Overall it is a good concept but needs to be made better.

This gate was great because I needed something that would extend across wide openings. The fact that it could be set at angles allowed for adjustability to the specific spaces and made it look pretty cool too. There are a few cons, but it is the best gate that would work for my application and I don't hate it (after a few weeks). It was also fairly easy to install.

Con: 1. If you use all three of the original sections, the gate needs to be in the middle of the sections. It cannot be next to the wall with the other two connected to one side. Therefore, I had to order an additional section and throw away one of the originals.
2. The gate opening is not very wide so you have to be careful navigating with things like laundry baskets.
3. My 3 year old cannot open the gate by herself, so I have to make sure that it is left opened for her (when I am not containing my crawler) and be at her beck and call if she is locked out.

I needed to install the gate from bottom of a set of stairs without handrails to the wall across from the stairs. The gate runs parallel to the stairs in order to divide a room in two, but I had to install the stair side at a 90 degree angle to the anchoring wall. It was very easy to install. I have limited construction skills and it was up by the end of a nap!
