My son had just turned two when we moved into our new house. His room scared me to death with low windows on the sides of the house, and as everyone knows, some toddlers tend to be a litte 'top heavy'. I was so scared that he would lean out the window, push the screen out and follow behind. This is a great product and have given me peace of mind in that he can't open them (yet) and is safe in his room. Also, when he's old enough to understand, we can teach him how to open them in case of a fire.

Guardian Angel Window Guards serve a purpose. They're not pretty and do make some rooms resemble a prison. But they will keep my kids 2.5 & 10monts from falling out of our top floor condo. At the end of the day the piece of mind is worth it.

Installation was easy and quick. I You need a drill with 1/8" bit, power screwdriver,level, and a ratchet screwdriver and your set.

Takes about 10 minutes per window for installation, which includes opening and breaking down the boxes.

After they're installed the guards seem sturdy but are a bit of an eyesore.

So far so good. As I stated above they're not pretty but sever a purpose.

Lightweight but sturdy. Doesn't look like jail bars. Easy enough removal that big brother can get it open in an emergency.

We purchased a different version of these from a home improvement store, and quickly returned them because the Guardian Angel guards are so much nicer. Incase of an emergency, they are easy to detach, but at the sametime, they feel much safer than the others! We purchased 8 of them from One Step Ahead, and just about to order 4 more!

The window guardians are easy to install and are sturdy. I finally feel safe opening second floor windows to allow fresh air in the home. They can also be removed easily for emergency exit in the event of a fire.

Can't say enough about this product. I have never had a problem with it, and I feel safe leaving a few windows open on the 2nd floor to get a good cross-breeze going in the house.

The peace of mind this product gives is well worth the price! It also has a feature that firefighters can easily push these release buttons from the outside to get into the house in case of an emergency!

Our triplets' bedroom is on the second floor and the windows are very close to the floor (about two feet). The thought of one of them pushing the screen out and falling to the ground below is just sickening. This product gives me piece of mind knowing that they cannot get out the window. The bars also come out easily (for an adult) in case of emergency.

I have been too nervous about opening my children's windows for fear they could accidently tumble out. We enjoy the spring and fall and love to have our windows open, but until we installed the guardian angels the kids' rooms remained hot. If you have a 2 story home you NEED this. It only takes a moment for your child to lean forward on screen and fall through. The wrong fall could be fatal. With this gate you can have the windows open (to enjoy a summer breeze) with peace of mind. Give yourself one thing less to worry about.

I purchased this Angel Window Guard to keep my child away from an open spaces on the second floor. It doesn't look bab at all, actually looks like part of the house. And the most important thin: My child is SAFE.

Being a mother of triplets I'm constantly worrying about there safety. I feel much more comfortable about them playing in there 2nd floor bedroom now that I've installed this. It'll also be easy to get open in case of an emergency

Worth the money - these are engineered and constructed better than anything else I've seen. I'm one cheap Dad, so I bought just one to check it out before buying all the ones I needed.

Tip: If you want to save some money, you really only need these in one window in each room - you can buy the cheap permanent kind for the other windows. They won't match but it will work.

Installation Tip - ASSUME you will need different mounting hardware - it's not their fault that the screws don't fit your application, there are too many possibilities for them to pack screws for every situation. They were too long for me since I installed them in the metal window frame itself.
