Modern Corner Kitchen

Looked long and hard for a kitchen set that wasn't too girly or plastic... love the size, look and features of this kitchen set. We got it for our 1 1/2 year old for Christmas and she plays with it constantly. Very happy with the durability of the doors (so far) and the "real" look so she feel like she is just like mommy.

If you are wavering between buying a plastic kitchen for $150 and this one, spend the extra [$] and buy this very durable kitchen. My 3 year old boys slam the doors, bang pots on it and it is always like new. Looks great too! Cons: Took my Handy Andy husband 3+ hours to put together; also it does not make noises and sounds like the other kitchens. Highly recommend it!

pieces were mislabeled or missing, difficult to put togeether

This is a great kitchen. It fits into the corner of our house perfectly. It took a while to assemble, but it was well worth it. The quality is great. My daughter loves to play with it.

I searched the internet for a durable wooden kitchen since I have an 8-yr-old girl and a 3-yr-old boy who both love to pretend to cook and we aren't living at grandmas where there was a plastic kitchen. I wanted durable and so far so good (only time will tell) and I also didn't want the annoying weird colors that the plastic ones come in. The only con I see with this one is that as with most kitchens, plastic and wood, you have a million pieces to put together while your children are bouncing up and down with excitement next to you. The only other problem we encountered was that the hardware that the oven, dishwasher, and microwave doors swing on, was not designed well with the unit. My husband had to shave off some of the wood to allow room for everything to fit together and the counter top to sit flat. Over all my children love it and play with it everyday and I love it and it doesn't look hideous in my home!

This kitchen is wonderful. Keeps my kids busy. [...]. Construction was fairly easy but time consuming. Overall my children love this kitchen. I would definately reccomend this product, especially if you have more than one child. Large enough for two to play at the same time.

We selected this kitchen based on the design - we wanted something that would look ok sitting out in our kitchen. We were happy with the final result - it was just as we expected. Not too difficult to assemble either - followed directions perfectly and had all necessary parts.

Kitchen is big enough that both kids can play at the same time (heaven forbid they leave each other alone!). Also, the unit is very gender neutral so my 4 year old boy doesn't feel "too girly." My kids love the fridge and freezer- so similar to the one in our own kitchen![...]Also, give yourself plenty of time and space to put the unit together. Assemble in the room it will stay in!

Everyone is extremely impressed with this kitchen. I have two boys, one 3 1/2 and the other 21 months and they love it. I love it because of the corner design, they have their own areas to play in. With the extra counter space we even added a toaster and coffee maker.
The only thing that I wish it had was one more shelf in the fridge and maybe one in the dishwasher, OR make the dishwasher smaller and had another pantry shelf (ie for silverware, plates and cups).

My son wanted a kitchen for Christmas this year, and he is loving it! Very sturdy and doesn't take up too much space in his room. Took Santa a about 5 hours to put together, though. All in all, it is a good purchase and expect it to last through the 2 other kiddos.

My 22 month old son received this as his "santa present" for Christmas and really loves this kitchen. It took me and my DH about 2 hours to put together, but it is made really well and I love how it is wood and not cheap plastic. It blends with my decor and doesn't look too kiddy sitting out in our living room. The only complaint is the dishwasher door won't close without really pushing it hard. It is a little off square and this is why the door won't latch correctly, but other than that it is a great kitchen I hope my son gets many years of enjoyment out of!

My 2 1/2 year old and 11 month old love this kitchen. My only complaint is that all the appliances open from the side. You should be able to pull the oven or dishwasher down rather than opening like a microwave.

This product is very nice. Our two year old daughter loves it. It takes a REALLY long time to assemble. It would be better if there were some accessories along with the kitchen.

We agonozied over which kitchen set to get for our 2 yr. old daughter. We like the features of the plastic ones but the stability of the wooden ones. Then we came across this kitchen set & LOVED it. So glad that we ordered this one for her for Christmas- Santa did GOOD!
The website says one hour assembly- it took us 2 hrs. What helped us was to take EVERYTHING out of the box & put the items into groups. The numbered items all went together & we grouped them so all the teens went in one spot, the 20's were in another & so on. Then the package that had all the screws, etc.- they had letters associated with them. So we took those all out individually & put them in a small snack bag with the letter. Then when it came time to put it all together- my husband would let me know which number(s) and/or letter(s) he needed & I would just look through our sorted piles and baggies. Yes it may have taken a little extra time to do that but it made it so much easier to put together. It went together fairly easy. The only complaint is the small shelf in the fridge part- it doesn't quite stay in place like the other shelves do- but it's nothing a little extra glue of some sort can't fix.
Our daugher LOVES it. She can reach things easily and open & close the doors, etc. too. She has been playing with the kitchen nonstop. This is something that she'll be able to grow along with & I'm sure we'll be getting MANY good years out of it. We also love that it's pretty gender netural too. If you're really trying to decide between a plastic & a wooden...go for the wooden & GO FOR THIS KITCHEN! :)

I love this Kitchen, and so does my three year old. It does take some time to put together, but seems very durable. The only con is that many of the plastic pieces came broken. My husband and I had to compromise because it was a santa gift and we didn't put it together until christmas eve.
