Our kids' easel is a work of art! It's sturdy enough to last all childhood, and beautiful enough to enhance your playroom. Our testers loved this solid wood easel, with chalkboard, dry erase board, dual work trays, and storage shelf. Height adjusts from 43"-48" for grow-with-me value; folds for easy storage. Includes solid wood chalkboard eraser, 18" x 82' paper roll, and four non-spill paint cups (lid colors may vary). For ages 3 and up.

Frame is made of solid birch wood, with an espresso finish

Measures 23¾"L x 25½" x 48"H unfolded and 25½" x 13½" x 49"H folded

Work trays measure 25½" x 5"; each holds 4 supply cups

Lower storage shelf measures 24" x 19"

Paper dispenser measures 18"L and holds 18"L paper rolls

30-minute assembly; tools included

This is a beautiful easle--we haven't even given it to our 3rd child yet...it's his 3rd birthday this Saturday, but I know he will love it. I'm hoping it will deter him from drawing on everything with my mascara! Just one thing I would change...I saw this in the magazine and oredered it online, but didn't re-read the description online (assuming it was the same), but online it said "lid colors may vary"--so we didn't get the nice 4 colors displayed in the picture. I know...picky, but with that price, you'd think this detail would be included.

I watched my son and daughter-in-law assemble this - seemed logical and was accomplished in appropriate time.

My 2-year-old grandson immediately drew pictures in chalk - or asked us to draw them ("Big fish" "Little fish" "Elephant").

It seems that he will start with the chalk and crayons, then later do the painting, as it needs supervision. The easel also tempted him to crawl inside, but as the construction is quite sturdy, no harm done to either easel or boy.

Time will tell, but this seems to be good for several years of artistic endeavors.
