this costume fit perfect, it is very well made,very good fabric. it was even cuter on our son than in the picture.we bought the 6-9 month and my son was 15lbs at the time. we couldnt be happier and we will be getting more costumes from here next year. very pleased. get one youll see.

My son received so many compliments on his costume. It was so different from other lion costumes I had come across. This year happened to be a chilly halloween so the thick layers of the costume were appropriate. I dont think it would be comfortable for a child in warm weather or for long periods of time indoors.

This is the best store bought costume ever! My 2 year old was the talk of the town on Halloween in it. It is made really well, constructed of sturdy materials and seems very comfortable. The mane's super soft and too cute, as with the tail. Worth the price tag. My son loves it and will be saving it as a 'dress up' costume. Everyone loved it.

My little guy looked adorable in this costume for his first Halloween. We live in Iowa so it was perfect for the weather conditions. It would be VERY warm for a child who lived in a warmer climate!!!!

This costume is so adorable, but it's not for babies that heat up easily, live in warmer climates, or who aren't used to covering their head. As much as my son loved the idea of being a lion, he cried and refused to wear the mane once it was on. I did manage to come up with a compromise, though. When I put him in the stroller, I stuck the mane behind his head and it stayed in place. He didn't even notice it was there. As for the tail, tie it to the snap in the back with the ribbon. Otherwise, it will drag.

The Lil Lion costume is well made - I ordered two sizes and returned the smaller one, so I would say if you child is in between to go up in size, but my daughter was a hit on Halloween! The construction is great, with snaps in legs for easy diaper changing, and a zipper in back which made dressing her a snap! the paw booties were great and stayed on the whole time and the front paws jsut cover the hands, they are not mittens, which was perfect, since my daughter does not like having her hands confined. Great Buy!

This costume was exactly what I expected. My 5 month old Son looked adorable in it though it only lasted a few minutes before he started crying, I did manage to get the cutest picture. the only con is the snap on the headpiece was a little tight probably better for a toddler.

I used this product as my son's first halloween costume. For the season it was well constructed and kept him warm with minimal additional clothing underneath. He enjoyed wearing it because it did not itch his skin and it was not bulky in any way. I certainly enjoyed taking him to get portraits in it. It was well constructed overall, durable, and looked as good as it was advertised, well worth the purchase =)

Great costume. High quality construction. My baby girl is 8 months (17 lbs) and it fit her fine ... it was a little big, but you couldn't tell. I would definitely recommend it to a friend!!

I really like this costume, although I feel it is still a bit expensive for what I usually buy, it's constructed nicely with a nice soft inside lining. Zips on nicely and the headpiece has enough room for his head without covering his face.

I really like the costume but when I washed it the head piece (the lion main) got all scratchy and pieces of it came off and got all over every thing in the washer. I spent like 30 min just picking all the pieces of the costume off my other clothes. FYI - my son is not a fan of stuff around his face.

This costume is absolutely precious! I ordered it for my 8 month old little boy's first Halloween and am extremely pleased with my purchase. The costume looks exactly as it does in the picture, and the sizing is accurate too. We took our boys to a Halloween event last night, and almost everyone there commented on how precious this costume is!

We received the costume in the mail and we put it on my son right away to see how it looked and to enter a picture of him in our local newspaper's costume contest. I was gentle putting it on my son, while pieces off felt flew off of the costume left and right. Then a button ripped off. The material is thin and caused my son to overheat immediately. There is no adjustable head piece, so the mane kept slipping to and fro over my son's head. Not to mention that once my son realized that pieces came easily off the costume, that was all she wrote. Don't buy or plan to use for more than 15 minutes at a time.
