I bought this product when I lived in El Paso with my now 2 year old. The car got so hot in the summer and I was always worried about my daughter and the metal parts on her car seat getting too hot. While this cover didn't make the seat cold, it was much cooler than what I had expected it to be, and the metal parts were just warm. No worry about burning her. I've had it about a year now, used all through last summer, and I plan on using it again this summer now that we live in Louisiana. It folds up small (I stick in the seat back pocket), but does feel a bit "paper-y". I sometimes worry about it ripping, but so far it's been fine. It's big for our Britax Roundabout car seat, and a friend of mine who has a much bigger car seat had no problem with hers fitting either. Overall, it's been a great purchase, especially for the price.

I live in Vegas and moved here from Florida. Needless to say, VERY HOT! I have had to run the air just to cool down my son's car seat in the past, but not anymore! I can get in the car and go and my not burn my son's little legs in the process.

This is not good for really hot temps. I live in AZ and tried this to keep my sons car seat cool and it was still very hot. the weather is just too hot. May work well in other locations. Great idea, just not good for us.

I was excited to get this product because my daughter hated how the sun heated up her seat while she was out of it, however, it almost feels like it ttrapped the heat in there and it is near impossible to put the cover on if you are even remotely holding onto your child (and not great even if your arms are free). I am not a fan and am very glad I didn't purchase 2 as planned

In the hot Texas heat any little thing helps. It can be hard to setup if you have to hold an infant but its ok to setup with a 2 yr old.

This is just the best thing. Car gets hot so always put up the window sun shield but car seat buckles still getting hot. Bought these and even my 3 yr old noticed the immediate difference. Bravo to the smart person who came up with this.

I cover my daughter's car seat every day and it seems to help keep the heat off of it. The metal parts still seem a little hot which is the reason i bought the thing! but it does help a little.

I was excited to find this item since my daughter gets so upset when her car seat is hot. While I was waiting for it to be delivered I used a blanket to cover up her seat. After using this product I realized the blanket did the same job. In direct sun light the buckle still got very hot. Not really worth the money

I bought this several months ago and just put it on my son's car seat for the first time. It was really sized too small for his Graco car seat - Safe Seat Step 2. When I GENTLY pulled it on, the binding came right off! What poor construction!

We live in Arizona near Phoenix. Our cars both have tinted windows. We bought this to cover his Britax Marathon convertible car seat.Since we have small cars, it is a little tricky to get your child out and then cover it before leaving with child in tow, but it is possible. The reason I would not recommend to another Arizonan specifically, is that it doesn't make the seat cooler. Even on a 90 degree day, the sun still makes the metal part of the seatbelt too hot to touch with the cover on. We found that the only way to keep the seat cool are park under shade (covered parking) or put a blue freezer pack on the seat when you are about to put child in the seat. Maybe will work if you are in MN or somewhere with heat but not sun?
