We loved the IDEA of this pool for our 9 month old but when we went to use it for the first time, the hose connector leaked profusely. The ground surrounding the pool became completely saturated and a complete mess. Between the leak and the fact that the hose has to be running the whole time, the amount of water required seems very wasteful. It would be nice if you could shut the hose off and just leave an inch or two of water in the pool for the little ones to play with, that's all they need. This would also help with the water temperature because the way it constantly feeds from the hose makes it way too cold for small children. Had no problem getting a refund [...]

My 9 month old son loves water and as soon as I saw this pool, I had to buy it for him! It was nice, because you did not need to inflate the pool, you just hook the hose right up to it and it fills quickly. My son loves to play with the sprinkler portion and to splash in the small pools of water. He has had a few friends over to play in it with him (all under 12 mo of age) and they all enjoyed it too! I especially like it because I can sit right next to him safely without having to put on a bathing suit myself!

I love how you don't need to blow it up with air or do anything with much effort to fill it. You just screw in the hose, turn the water on, and that's that! It's so easy! My baby loves all the different fountains and varying depths. My only complaint is that it does take some effort to empty it fully once you are done. However, that's hardly worth mentioning considering how easy it is to set up and the enjoyment my 10 month old gets from it!

We did obtain a leak this summer (our 2nd summer using it) - but if it tells you anything, I replaced right away and did not mind doing so in the least. This item has brought us so much summer fun and the price is down right reasonable!

I have an 8 month old and it is perfect for a baby who can sit up. Not deep enough for them to become submerged. The fountains are great too. The only downside is that it can be difficult to thtread the waterhose to fill the pool...otherwise, it is a great buy!

My daughter loves this pool, however it has a leak at the seam...right out of the package. It's small but you can't really patch it at the seam. Other than that, it's a great pool.

We have loved this device this summer. It would have lasted longer if my sons (father and uncle) hadn't gotten in it too! When it burst a seam, I ordered two more and now the big guys will be more careful. The grandbaby has loved it.

We use this pool in our backyard and my son, who is 16 months, loves it. It is a great 1st pool. The size of the pool allows him to get comfortable with the water on his own. It does not take him long before he sits in the pool, splashes around and cools off.

From right out of the box....so cute! I bought this for my 8 month old son. He LOVES it! It has a shallow and deeper area, an indented area for sitting as well. All around the perimeter are the softer sprinkles, then the whale and other animals raise up and have water-fountain type streams of water! So much to look at for a baby! Durable too :) The only con is that you need to run your hose the whole time your using it-not bad for a baby that's only in 30 min tops. It's a bit hard to empty too. It gats heavy. Overall in NO WAY a deal breaker...totally worth every penny! There's nothing like it in stores! Will still be good next year too!

This splash pool is awesome for my beginner walker and 3 year old. It's lasted nearly all summer and they have had hours of fun in it. I've already bought one for next year too.

I got this for our 7month old. He loved it-even the first time we used it. It's not intimidating at all-just great fun. Don't worry about the water not being heated. We live at the beach so our temps don't get too warm ever and our little guy was fine. Just enough water collects in the mat that the sun gently warms it up for you. He LOVED the way the water sprays. Also, it was very easy to set up and put away! Have a great summer with this fun activity!

the price mark to buy the li'l squirt was worth all the smiles i got from my little girl. i used it in the back for her first time and she was loving it. love the floating things inside the sealed pool, but had some bit of trouble trying to empty it completely. the floating objects in the sealed areas were holding the water back so many times. but i can say again. it was worth all her smiles and giggles.

I love this pool, although I was skeptical when I opened it up and it smelled like plastical chemicals for hours. I took it outside, washed it off and attached the hose. Once I got it attached- which was a little difficult, it was awesome! I am not sure how long that nozzle will last if you take it on and off, but it was well worth the money. My 8 month old crawler loves the fountains and the pool is just deep enough for her to sit and float toys, but she can also crawl through it without it being too deep. It's small and not cumbersome, so I can take it off the grass or move it around easily so I do not get brown patches. And with the fountains there is very little "fill up" time to wait like deeper pools. I am very happy with it, the chemical smell (PVC?) is the only thing I worry about, and still won't let her mouth the sides. I wish they were a little more clear about what it was made from and that it was safe. But for function, asthetics & fun it is great!

My daughter loves her Lil Squirt baby pool- this is the second year we have used it! She loved it last year when she was only 15 months old, but now that she is 2 she has even more fun with the sprinkler aspects and also likes to wade in it.
We had a play group of 2 year olds over and it was the hit of the party; the kids played in it for 2 hours.
I have purchased it twice- I broke it once trying to move it while it was full and it ripped, so you must empty it before moving it! But we love it so much I ordered a new one and it came in a matter of days.
Great for late afternoons when you don't want to go back to the public pool- you have entertainment right in your backyard! Plus, it is super cute and colorful.

My one year old LOVES this squirt pool. She is very active and with a regular baby wading pool, it is hard to keep her safe because she is constantly trying to climb in and out. With the squirt pool, she can safely crawl all around the play area, as well as on and off the mat. Used it at a friend's house and immediately came home and ordered one for our house. It is too good to pass up.
