Easy to apply. Just place on the soles of your child's socks, cover with a cloth, and press with a hot iron for 60 seconds. Let them cool, and your child's off and running!

Unlike pre-made non-slip socks, they're thin enough to wear with shoes. They're also less likely to overheat little feet, because you apply the transfers where you want to, not over the entire sole.

We have wooden floors and a toddler that is on the go. These give a little peace of mind in that they might add some traction to socks. They aren't hard to apply, but a little bit of a pain. Haven't had any problems with these peeling, but I have only applied to four pairs of socks.

It's nice to be able to buy whatever socks I want to for my kids! If you are handy with an iron these are no trouble at all. They take a little time to apply, the hot peel was the most challenging part to learn, but if you have ever made an iron on t-shirt then you'll have no problem with grippies iron on stars. Sometimes after the first 45 seconds, depending on the fabric, I put the overlay back on and heat it again, just for added measure.

These took awhile to apply. I followed the instructions exactly, and they all are falling off after the first use. Just buy new socks!

I work in a childrens gym, where I need to wear socks and demonstrate on equipment. My 8 yr old daughter has skid free tights for dancing and my 4 yr son is skid free as he runs all over my hardwood floors. I recommended GRiPPiES to a friend whose daughter slipped while running in tights and broke her arm. She is now a customer too. For such a reasonable price...I feel you should all get your GRiPPiES today because they are GREAT!!!

I had such high hopes . . .

I had such high hopes that these would allow me to keep using the many socks that still fit my now-walking daughter that didn't have sicky soles. After spending an hour ironing 60+ of them on, some went into the wash, some into a drawer and one pair onto my daughters feet. Within minutes, the points of the stars were peeling off and had carpet fuzz stuck to them, allowing my daughter to pull them off and as an added bonus, she then tried to eat them. The ones in the wash came out with all of the stars loose, if they were even still attached at all. I lost about 10 of them in the wash, never to be seen again. Even the unworn, unwashed ones had started to peel off when I checked on them, and they had all been firmly attached and flush to the sock material when I was ironing them. I though this was a great way to keep using her socks while she is still not the best on her feet, but it ended up being a bigger waste of money than new socks, and a big waste of time ironing and then pulling them off. They did provide good traction, however the star shape is likely the worst one they could have come up with. Possibly circles would have been the only good choice, but even then, I can't say they would have survived the wash. This product was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

I bought this product because my mother-in-law likes to make hand-knit slippers (very slippery.) It worked well for that, but I had hoped to cure our "slippery tights" problem, too. Unfortunately, many pairs of tights are made with non-natural fibers that cannot tolerate the iron!!! I wish there had been a "stick-on" version!!!!

Bought this product thinking it was such a wonderful idea. Found that it was very time consuming. Ironing on stars to socks took me forever and I only had 2 stars per sock. It was not worth the cost. If you put more than 2 or 3 stars per sock 48 stars would not go far. It's more practical to go to [...] and just buy the socks with the antislip already on them. Would be better to use for tights but you have to insert a piece of cardboard in the foot before you iron. I didn;t feel they were worth the expense.
