Wee Wedgits are soft poly-vinyl stackable shapes. Graduated pieces introduce both size differentiation and early problem solving skills into basic stacking play. Duplicate pieces encourage children to sort by size and/or color and create freely. Many pieces have large openings for easy grasping. The soft material is phthalate-free, a nice safety feature for children who often use their mouths to explore their environments. Carry bag included. For 12 months and up. My three year old picked this out of the catalog. At first I thought it would be too babyish for her as it is recommended for 12 months and older, but I decided to follow her lead and got it for her for Christmas. She played with it non-stop; even more than the princess and fairy gifts she received. We shipped all our gifts to our relatives' house in PA before Christmas and then back to CA where we live after Christmas. That was the one toy that she kept asking for as we were waiting for all the gifts to come home. She loves coming up with new ways of stacking the wedges and has come up with some very creative models. That is the great thing about this toy--the various ways in which kids can stack and connect this toy.

We have the widgets starter kit. Great Great idea. Keeps the children occupied for at least an hour. Will purchase another kit to expand

We purchased this product for our 10-month old and quickly learned that our 2 1/2 year old son, 18 month old nieces, and 5 year old nephew also had fun playing with it! It's very sturdy but also soft on teething gums. There are all kinds of uses for it, like making different designs, stacking, and even using pieces as bracelets. We are looking forward to getting the more advanced version of Wee Wedgits when our sons are a little older.
