My daughter loves to talk to me from her car seat by "dialing" my number with the realistic sounding buttons on her own cell phone! It flips open to fit around their head and the bright numbers and sounds definitely keeps their attention! Also, when you close the phone, it rings so they can answer it! You can also record your voice for them to playback messages if you arent around! The sound quality for the recorded messages isnt the best, but it works fine for this beginning toy. It also plays music and has a friendly voice that likes to "talk to them" and "ask them questions".

Perfect so far!! We gave it to my son on his first birthday and he loves it!! My only wish is that it were more thin, like a real phone. It is so thick and bulky!! But, being able to record a message, he just giggles every time he presses the button and hears his personal message!

This toy cell phone was a huge disappointment. The finish was scratched. It looked used when we got it. The sound quality of the recording device is horrible. Definitely a waste of money.

the flip top on the phone doesn't close properly, and therefore doesn't work properly. I would have sent it back, but with the cost of shipping, it wasn't worth it.

The only problem is that it's too easy to erase recorded message. The phone drops or the child holds the phone where the record button is and there goes grandma's message.

All ages love this phone. We had guests for New Years and even 10 year olds were loving it. My 16 month old got the hang of it right away and his sisters love recording messages for him. Great toy!

We ordered two of these phones. One was broken upon receipt, however, the company was excellent about replacing it. It is a lot of fun for little ones b/c you can record your own message to them. They enjoy hearing your voice on their phone.

My 19 month old is having fun talking on the phone. The buttons are fun to push, but he keeps erasing my recorded message.

Great toy for our 1 year old. She carries it around all the time, drops it frequently without issue. The record button could be better placed as she hits it and erases the message we leave.

My almost 2 year old daughter likes this phone because it looks like a real phone. She likes to push the buttons. She especially likes to hear the recorded message from a family member.

Great item. My daughter loves it. Now I don't have to fight her to get my hands on my cell phone. Excellent gift! Well made. My only complaint is that the record button is a little touchy and she is constantly recording over the message.

My one year old has a 'thing' for phones and he loves this phone. It surprises him every time it rings. I love the recording feature, it makes playing more unique and he doesn't get so bored.

I bought this cellphone as a stocking stuffer to go with several "fill the purse" items for my granddaughter who just turned three. It was meant to be an extra, not the main attraction. However, she could not stop playing with it and has been carrying it everywhere she goes. I recorded a greeting to her on the phone and she loves it when that is the call she gets. I thought that she might be disappointed by the "calls" that have only a dial tone, but she is not the least bit phased by them. Her 9 month old sister enjoys playing with the phone, too, although she is more inclined to teeth on it and to laugh at the messages.

My son likes the phone because it looks like a real cell phone that I have. It is a little large though. The record a voice does not sound as clear as I thought it should. Other than that it is a good toy.
