I purchased this product as a stocking stuffer for my 6 month old son. He really liked the noise and color; however, it was a bit large in diameter and length for his age. It is rated for 6 mos+, but I believe it is better suited for older infants/toddlers. He still plays with it, he just drops it a lot due to its size. I'm sure he will grow into it...

My 6-month-old son loves this toy. It make cool "rain-like" sound. He also likes biting it, but it is not best for biting as it is hard and big for 6-month-old to pick up on his own.

It seemed like a great idea in the shopping cart, but appears to be slow to catch on at home. I think maybe it is just too big for our 7-month-old to handle right now. Maybe when he is able to manipulate it better it will be more attractive to him. For now, I find myself playing with it a lot, though. ;-)

The beads inside are low quality since they have holes in them. Not recommended for babies lying down because they can drop it on their faces. Difficult for very little hands to hold since a little bulky and heavy.
