These little cars are so much fun! They're like little shiny black balls with a car "shell" - and they race across the floor when you roll them. We got them for our 18-month old for Christmas and he has really enjoyed them. Fun entertainment for such a small price!

I must say the cars were not what I expected. I thought that since they were on a ball they would move in all directions which was what I was looking for as my son just turned one and discovered the joy of pushing cars. But they like all other toy cars only roll straight. Other than that my son whips them around the house and they are very durable a bit of a pain to clean. But other than the directional issue they are a fun toy.

I think these are really cute, but my son has no interest in them. We have had them for about 2 weeks and he has never played with them on his own and, when I encourage him, he doesn't play with them for more than about 30 seconds. I am not sure why. He loves balls and he loves cars so I thought they would be perfect. They do not move in "any direction" as the description states. They only roll forward and backward.

I worried that my son who just turned 2 and is now into matchbox cars would be bored by these--he is definitely not! These are great and play can be confined to a realtively small area (like a restaurant table place setting) because they move in a circular fashion. They are a favorite for travel, dining out, and easy to toss into mom's purse for a "just in case" toy!

My son loves both cars & balls so I was excited about the combination. The shell has open windows and the roly-poly ball is exposed. He does not play with these much because when he moves them around with his hands his fingers touch the ball part and and they do not roll or pinch his fingers.

These cars are very cute. They go in all directions and have taken a few throws across the room by my 18 month old. Even his 10 year old neice likes to play with them with him. If you're looking for something small and fun, I'd recommend!
