I found that jacket's sleeves are too short for my 2 yr old son. It fits him better without lining, but then the body of the jacket is too big.

One Step Ahead/Leaps and Bounds is by far, my favorite place to shop! I love everything! But I was so disappointed in this coat.It's not easy to put on when the liner in zipped in the coat. The sleeves look so snug on my little 4 year olds arms. Even his Preschool teachers commented on how difficult it was to put on. The hood is always coming off - exposing his neck to the cold. I would love to order one for next year for both my little boys...but now I'm afraid to take a chance. Idea is great though!

I purchased this jacket because One Step Ahead generally has such great products. This jacket is such a nuisance. It is so bulky. My 15 month old has difficulty getting her arms through when both the inner lining and outer lining are zipped together. I can't say that I blame her! When the outer lining is used alone on not such a cold day, the jacket is much more tolerable. I definitely would not recommend this jacket to anyone.

This jacket is wonderful! The price is worth it since it's 3-in-1. I bought a size larger than my son currently wears in order to get more use out of it and I have no trouble pushing the sleeves up a bit to make them shorter. I love that both jackets have the identification tags and it's easy to remove and reattach the inner jacket.

This jacket is a great, not so bulky fit, with all the warmth of your typical bulky winter jackets. I LOVE the colors since they are less standard than most of the coats out there. I'm sure it will be great for all jacket seasons. I bought it a little big so he'd have room to grow. The 5/6 size fits my 3 year old (almost 40 pounds, 40 inches). The only thing I don't like about this jacket are the sleeves. The little hands get stuck in the fleece liner and then it gets pulled past the sleeve of the outer jacket shell and I have to tuck it back in there...but, the elastic around the wrist is tight to prevent windchill...so I guess it's a good thing...just not the easiest to get on the arms of a 3 year old.

This jacket has all you need for all levels of cold weather. From a cool breeze to deep snow. It's warm and versatile and the only jacket you'll need all winter long. I bought this for my daughter because we are spending Christmas in Wyoming and I think she'll be plenty warm because I also bought it for my neighbors kid and it keeps him quite toasty.

I bought the 3 in 1 b/c I live in LA but spend 2 wks in the Northeast for Xmas, so I wanted a warm winter coat, but something that I could use here for the cool but not freezing winter. This coat is perfect - I didn't have high expectations when I bought it, but once I received I was pleasantly surprised with the superior quality and construction of the garment.

We bought this jacket for the changing weather on a visit to Texas and it worked out great. Sometimes we used the fleece alone, sometimes we used the shell and sometimes both. It is well made and because we bought it slightly larger than our son needs, it should last him a long time. The jacket even has reflective stripes on the front. My folks were impressed with this jacket too. It was also the best priced of all the comparable jackets we found online.

coat is a little hard to put on because of the liner but it is well worth it because it is warm and true to size and fits well and does not interfere with the car seat because not overly bulky.

We got one of these coats last year. Loved it so much that we just got a bigger size this year. My daughter loves the fact that she can wear the inner half in the spring and fall and that it is soft.
She can easily zip it her self.
Very washable.

This is a good coat for the cold, Chicago Winter. I like that it has two separate layers.

I bought this jacket with the matching snow pants. One of the snap buttons that attaches the hood to the jacket fell off before my daughter even wore it (the thread came undone), so I was immediately disappointed. The fit is also awkward. I got the 12-18 month size, which my daughter generally fits.
